Job Requirements:
- Min 5 years of professional experience in the insurance/reinsurance sector, or in the consulting, investment, or banking sector with knowledge of the insurance sector, preferably with at least 3 years in actuarial, data analytics, accounting, and reporting matters.
- Ideally a Qualified Actuary with very strong Actuarial, Accounting and IFRS knowledge
- Fluent command of English in speaking and writing
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Efficient communicator to his superiors, peers and other colleagues
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including use of spreadsheets for budgeting, forecasting, business planning, etc.) as well Microsoft Powerpoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track-record in summarizing complex questions into easy to understand topics.
- Provide high accuracy in self-control work and independent task management skills.
- Able to analyze complex questions and summarize the essentials.
- Driver of change, as a part of a dynamic organization and ever-changing business environment.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Able to work as a discreet colleague able to keep highly confidential topics within the circle who needs to know.
- Profound knowledge and experience in drafting power point presentations and developing excel worksheets.
Job Decriptions
Planning & Controlling
- Support the Chief Executive and the Chief Financial Officer to execute the Company’s strategy by tracking, coordinating and monitoring the ongoing strategic projects across the organization.
- Identify business trends utilizing real data and cost / benefits analysis, and propose actionable measures to support the execution of the Company strategy.
- Lead the Planning and Forecast process in cooperation with the Head of Finance and Chief Actuary.
- Monitor and control the execution of the business case from a financial and qualitative point of view.
- Support daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis to internal stakeholders and Group Controlling.
Actuarial
- Prepare profitability analysis reports to identify trends, patterns, and insights for management.
- Support Pricing actuary in pricing tools implementation and maintenance, review of risk model and tariff, prepare monthly WICA and Motor risk score.
Ad-hoc assignments
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required by Chief Executive and / or Chief Financial Officer
