Responsibility:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supervisor to oversee the production processes in the manufacture of bread, cakes, and confectionery, excluding frozen bakery products. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production line, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of bakery operations, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Job Description:
* Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the bakery production line, including mixing, baking, and packaging of bread, cakes, and confectionery items.
* Monitor product quality at every stage of the production process, ensuring that all products meet established standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
* Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
* Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency. Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and distribution, to ensure smooth operations.
* Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, conducting regular stock checks and ordering supplies as needed to minimize downtime.
* Oversee the maintenance and repair of bakery equipment, ensuring that machinery is kept in good working condition to minimize disruptions to production.
* Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the health and well-being of all employees. Conduct regular safety training sessions and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
* Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, inventory records, and quality control documentation.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to fulfill customer orders and address any product inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
*Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
*Need working on Saturday, Sunday, public holiday and overtime.
*Able to work rotate shift and overtime.
Working Location: BEDOK NORTH
Requirement:
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
• Bilingual speaker, need to liaise with Chinese & English client & workers.
• Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
• Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
