• Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize travel time and ensure timely delivery of catering orders. Manage time effectively to handle multiple deliveries or pickups within designated timeframes.
• Loads and unloads equipment and food on and off catering vans.
• Checks order sheets while loading catering van to ensure all equipment, food and supplies being sent are correct.
• Adhere to established procedures and protocols for food safety, sanitation, and the handling of catering items. Maintain precise records of deliveries,including customer signatures, delivery times and any discrepancies from the original order. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies related to the transportation and delivery of food and beverages.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle including checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a related industry.
• Open to Singaporean residents only.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3, Class 2B, or Class 2A driving license.
• Strong driving skills with a solid understanding of local traffic regulations and routes.
• Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
• Keen attention to detail and the capability to follow instructions precisely.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers.
• Availability to work on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
• Immediate availability is required.
• Must own a personal vehicle.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Transporting clients from airports to hotels and vice versa.
• Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
• Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
• Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
• Interacting with clients in professional conduct.
• Working at night and on weekends.
• Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
• Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
• Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
• Updating monthly mileage records.
• Driving a variety of vehicles, including motorbikes, cars, buses and trucks.

Driver Requirements:

• A valid driver's license.
• 1-year driving experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the operating area.
• Physical strength and ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Good verbal communication.
• Proficiency using GPS devices.
