Job Purpose:

• Hands-on experience with knowledge of full spectrum of accounts
• Efficiently undertake a range of duties related to the accounting/bookkeeping/treasury function of the business.

Key responsibilities:

1) Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and fixed asset function for several legal entities including invoice posting

Job Purpose

The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. They facilitate applied learning and applied research in SIT, complementing the academic expertise of the faculty to bring industry practices and applications into the curriculum.

Professional Officers leverage on their industry experiences to create authentic learning environments, where discovery and innovation take place. They act as coaches and mentors to students during practical learning activities such as laboratory sessions, Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Professional Officers could also lead or work with faculty on industry innovation projects to provide solutions to the industry.

In addition to their role in applied learning and applied research, Professional Officers manage the centralised laboratory facilities and resources in SIT. With Technical Officers, laboratory safety professionals, and administrators in POD, they jointly develop central policies and processes for the safe and seamless operation of laboratories in SIT.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and teach labs & practice modules.
• Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP).
• Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry.

Job Requirements

• A good degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications like registered PE/CEng would be advantageous.
• Deep technical specialist with 10 or more years of working experience with mechanical systems in Building services environments or facility design consultancy would be preferred.
• Experience in following areas is highly desirable:
• Both design and management of mechanical building systems.

The incumbent will undertake a six-month contract with Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) to support Hair for Hope (HfH) 2025. Organised by CCF, HfH is the only head-shaving campaign in Singapore that serves to raise childhood cancer awareness and funds.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and cultivate relationships with partners and stakeholders through active engagements.

· Assist with the preparation, coordination and execution of physical events for Hair for Hope 2025 with internal and external stakeholders.

· Provide administrative and operational duties effectively and efficiently, which may include and not limited to preparation of event briefs, memorandum of agreements, procurement, logistical and data management.

· To deliver exceptional customer service experience throughout the stakeholders’ journey, offering recommendations, addressing stakeholders’ inquiries and concerns from multiple communication platforms.

· To perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to the role.

Requirements:

· Possess Diploma in Business, Marketing or Events Management.

· Past Experience in Customer Service will be advantageous.

· Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and preferably another language including Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or any other dialect commonly used in Singapore.

· May be required to work on weekends (time-off will be granted for official duties after office hours).

· A commitment of at least a minimum of six months from March 2025 till September 2025.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in the conceptualisation of PR and digital marketing strategies, including the development of an influencer engagement plan for Hair for Hope 2025.

· Contribute to the development, design, and copywriting of marketing materials for all CCF digital media platforms.

· Engage in media monitoring, draft press releases, and media invites, and prepare media kits to promote campaign initiatives.

· To perform other duties and responsibilities that his/her supervisors may assign.

Requirements

· Diploma/Undergraduate degree or background in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications

· Energetic and outgoing personality, strong team player

· Able to multi-task and detail-oriented

· Good language proficiency in both written and spoken English

· May be required to work on weekends.

· A commitment of at least a minimum of six months from March 2025 till September 2025.
