Community Partnership Intern

We are looking for someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills and is enthused by different stakeholders collaborating for greater good in the community. We are looking to increase our engagement with the community in the towns of Woodlands, Toa Payoh and Tampines and to avail resources from community partners to improve the general and mental well-being of vulnerable children, youths, seniors and their families in the estate. Job Summary

As the Safety Officer for the main contractor, you will report to the Project Manager and oversee safety protocols at the construction site. This includes conducting inspections, implementing safety measures, facilitating training, and ensuring compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WSH regulations.
• Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards.
• Training and Education: Organize safety training programs, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills.
• Incident Management: Investigate accidents and near-misses, recommend preventive measures, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of WSH regulations and site safety practices in Singapore.
• Proficient in report writing, record-keeping, and risk assessment.
