Reporting to the CFO, he/she will be responsible for the following duties but are not limited to:

• Manage full sets of accounts.
• Perform weekly payment processing functions and update of cash books.
• Prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, reconciliations and management reports.
• Ensure the company's books are properly kept in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage accurate accounting data maintain in accounting system.
• Work closely with internal parties such as sales team to place purchase orders, monitor customers' invoices and payment issues.
• Assist in external audits.
• Assist and support projects/tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Candidate with a degree in Accounting, professional accountancy qualification or equivalent.
• CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of working experience in accounting.
• Experience working in trading companies preferred.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Experience with general ledger functions and full set accounting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages i.e. Xero
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming raw/packaging materials and product labels to ensure they meet standard specifications.
• Conduct checks on the production line for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including in-process items and finished products, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and product specifications.
• Generate weekly QC reports.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure quality products are produced.
• Ensure products adhere to and comply with food regulations.
• Report non-conformances to superiors or the person-in-charge for investigation and corrective action.
• Verify product labels before printing.
• Support in managing retention samples.
• Assist in pest control management.
• Maintain documentation and records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience preferred.
• Capable of working as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.

Deployment:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
• Fridays: 8:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break

Scope of Works:

1. Attend to telephone calls, emails, front desk reception walk-in enquiries (vendors, parents, students, general public) and receipt of deliveries.
2. Support teaching and administrative staff by providing information to students and parents. To be present during curriculum days with the exception of occasional leave-taking (subject to approval).
3. Facilitate communicate within the school by ensuring necessary information is properly transmitted.
4. Attend to minor student injuries/ accidents and maintain the student injuries/ accidents records file.
5. Assist with administrative duties e.g. filing, data entry, student attendance update, collection of forms.

Job Summary

The Research and Development (R&D) Chef is responsible for the development and improvement of recipes and new product prototypes and processes to ensure that its processes meet the PB food quality and food safety standards. He/She provides food science expertise in designing processes to manufacture new food products on a commercial scale for marketing purposes and meeting sales and SEA region’s import and export regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Create new recipes, modifying and improving existing recipes through experimentation.
• Plan, manage and run panel sessions and sensory tests on food products.
• Consolidate data gathering for new product specifications.
• Formulate new food production standards and standard operating procedures.
• Make recommendations in the design of new manufacturing processes or to change current equipment or processes.
• Modify new product recipes and ingredient selection while taking note of nutrition, shelf life, and regulations.
• Establish product specifications and documentation.
• Confirm product formulations and other information for constructing product profiles.
• Review methods to improve the quality of new baked products and compliance with food regulations during mass production.
• Develop ideas from preparation processes for marketing purposes.
• Develop product improvements based on sensory testing and
• data.
• Facilitate innovation and lead team leaders to implement change.
• Refine recipe formulation for mass production purposes.
• Review ingredients to meet customer needs and requirements.
• Ability to review alternative ingredients and food preparation processes to meet mass production and compliance needs.
• Make recommendations for changes to new & existing food production processes.
• Organise and conduct Train the trainer and on-the-job training sessions locally and within SEA regions’ production and retail kitchens.
• Follow up on yearly refreshment training schedule
• Troubleshoot production processes to resolve production, quality, and regulatory compliance issues.
• Execute any other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of production systems, food costing, ordering and inventory
