Job Summary
As the Manager – IT Project Delivery – Contract Logistics – APAC, you will take charge of delivering high-impact IT projects from start to finish across the region. Working alongside the IT Solutions Manager, you will drive forward commercial logistics projects, managing project timelines, risk factors, and stakeholder engagement. In this influential, regional role, you’ll utilize your expertise in Contract Logistics, WMS, and TMS systems to deliver customer-centric solutions that push boundaries and elevate our service offerings.
Key Accountabilities
- Define clear project scope, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring all timelines are met and quality standards upheld.
- Create, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring alignment between forecast and actual expenses.
- Implement and monitor quality metrics to ensure optimal project delivery.
- Communicate and coordinate all change impacts with stakeholders, securing approvals and aligning on resources.
- Present IT solutions effectively to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Conduct workshops to gather requirements and develop actionable implementation roadmaps.
- Maintain open communication with internal teams and external customers, ensuring expectations are clear and progress is tracked.
- Build productive relationships with IT Heads and senior stakeholders across the region, ensuring cohesive project delivery.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).
- 5+ years in IT project management within supply chain/logistics, with a strong focus on solution design and customer-facing roles.
- Proficiency in WMS, TMS, and EDI standards, along with experience in application development, integration, and various contract logistics models.
- Proven experience in large, global organizations and cross-functional environments.
- Exceptional English proficiency, with additional language skills in Asia preferred; adept at translating technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled in assessing and mitigating technical and business risks, with a strong analytical approach to complex challenges.
- Strong negotiation skills to address and resolve conflicts, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL or Agile.
- Willingness to travel across the APAC region as needed.
