Piping Supervisor| Industry: Oil & Gas
Responsibilities
· Direct control & supervision of DM workers and sub-contractors related to piping activities at site.
· Ensure the latest of “FOR CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS” AND “SPECIFICATIONS F CONSTRUCTION” is in used by the sub-contractor, and if not, makes sure the
Sub-contractor collects the latest issues.
· Coordinator with QC for all the related inspection and NDT requirement.
· Check field works and carry out the works in proper manner.
· Keep daily activity progress record and log any problems that may exist for immediate action.
· Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
· Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work reports and submit them to the superior timely.
· Coordinating interfaces with other discipline supervisors if required.
· Preparation of punch listing and expedite the punch-out.
· Monitor actual daily manpower/equipment mobilized, check it based on the plan, and report to the piping engineer/HOD.
· Assist to discipline Engineer to solve site concern matters.
· Assist to expedite “JCS” works and report to the piping engineer/coordinator.
· Understanding scope of works and supply requirement such as terms of condition with client and subcontractors, construction organization, project coordination procedure.
· Prepare schedule for the specific task instruct by discipline lead.
· Check and ensure that works are carrying out according to the priority sequence given form the piping discipline lead engineer/HOD.
· Monitor and ensuring the field piping materials are well maintain at side and report any discrepancy to lead engineer.
· Ensure that subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures, to ensure optimum efficiency, and work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements.
· Any other ad-hoc duties being assigned by your Superior.
Requirements
· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works
· Good planning, organization, control, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., Microsoft Excel)

Permanent - 5.5 days’ work week | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm
