About the opportunity
SAP FICO Consultant is a specialized professional responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring that the financial processes of an organization are efficiently managed and aligned with business objectives.
Your key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SAP FICO module implementation and configuration projects.
- Research, analyse, design and develop SAP FICO solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Update/Enhance SAP software capabilities and develp & direct testing and validation procedures
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
- Develop and implement effective controlling processes to support business decision-making.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for process optimization and automation.
- Train end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO-related issues.
- Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
- Develop specifications and performance requirements for SAP FICO.
- Ensure that hardware systems are optimized to support SAP FICO functionalities and performance.
Skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Proven experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO module functionalities and configuration.
- Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules.
- Understanding of hardware systems and their integration with SAP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to analyze business processes and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
