The Role Responsibilities
The CCIB Regulatory Enablement Team sits within COO for the Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking (CCIB) business.
The team provides CCIB with capabilities to drive regulatory programs and initiatives across the CCIB businesses and often pan-bank, working in an agile operating model with each segment and product area. Such regulatory programs and initiatives may include:
- Complex/Large Scale Regulatory Change;
- Material Policy changes;
- Internally-driven programs supporting the management of regulatory interactions and change (for example, how we engage with our regulators and track resulting regulatory actions and commitments);
- Changes resulting from topical strategic risks (such as US/CN geopolitical risks)
Due to the nature of these programs and initiatives, the team support not only the CCIB Business but also more broadly collaborate and engage across other divisions in the Bank to ensure delivery.
The CCIB Regulatory Enablement Team enables proactive impact assessment of regulatory initiatives and requirements, coordinates the approach and interpretation across businesses; and partners with business and technology teams to implement solutions in a consistent and coordinated manner.
The team is composed of program managers, project managers and business analysts, along with a central Project Management Office (PMO).
The role holder will have familiarity and experience with projects in a regulatory environment and an ability to analyse and organise project activities. The role will primarily provide Business analysis support and Project Management Office support to the various programs and initiatives managed by the Regulatory Enablement team. The candidate is expected to possess a sound business analysis skillset and well-versed with PMO fundamentals and best practices.
Business Analysis
- Build and maintain integrated working relationship with project and program managers to understand needs and requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational goals
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for project implementation
- Support key initiatives and tooling to enable effective regulatory change management and governance processes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals
- Seek to align with business analysis best practices and standards
Project Management Office (PMO) Support
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Change Delivery Standards, processes, and methodologies
- Support the maintenance of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Change Delivery Standards
- Assist in the preparation of project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
- Collaborate with project managers to coordinate project activities, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Assist in resource allocation, scheduling, and monitoring to optimize project outcomes
- Identify and communicate potential risks and issues, contributing to effective risk management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals
- Facilitate communication between project teams, business units, and the PMO to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
- Seek to align with PMO best practices
Governance and Risk Management
- Support the operations of the CCIB regulatory refinement forum (RF) through generation of metrics and reporting, including providing analysis of relevant metrics to ensure effective management of regulatory change for CCIB
- Support the maintenance of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Change Delivery Standards
- Assist in the preparation of project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Collaborate with project managers to coordinate project activities, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor/ Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Computer Science, Information Systems/ Technology, Engineering or equivalent practices.
- 7+ years’ of working experience in Data Analysis and Management, with focus on Data Insight Generation, Information Visualization and/or BI/MI Design preferably.
- Prior experience in tools like Tableau, Power BI, Azure DevOps , Planview highly recommended.
- Prior experience on Data source integration projects, Data governance would be nice to have.
- Prior experience in process management, data analytics would be very beneficial
- A proven team player with ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and work with management oversight to drive the best outcome possible.
- Strong problem-solving and planning abilities, high improvement focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good eye for aesthetics & attention to details
- Excellent in written communication and presentation skills; able to effectively engage, influence and manage business stakeholders.
- Experience of working in a collaborative, global team.
- Good strategic thinking in identifying solutions and selecting the best combination of practices
