The Asia and Middle East LNG origination team is based in Singapore. It is responsible in the LNG Book for establishing and implementing the strategy for origination and marketing of bp equity and merchant LNG contracts in these regions. It is also responsible for the execution of contracts relating to short-term and mid-term trading activity carried out by the LNG trading and portfolio teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Draft, negotiate and execute Confirmation Notices with trading counterparties.
• Support the review, negotiation and execution of Master Sales and Purchase Agreements with new counterparties.
• Support the LNG trading team in reviewing term-sheets prior to making an offer or bid in the spot market, including participation in tenders.
• Maintain, utilize, refine and update efficient processes including the Counterparty Risk Matrices, Country Risk Matrices, and relevant MSA/CN tracking sheets.
• Deliver commercial term and binding commitments (prices, flexibility, shipping etc.) which secure value and recognise trade-offs with risk.
• Work with bp Legal, Tax, Credit and other bp functions to maximise and protect bp value, and facilitate necessary internal approvals.
• Ensure an understanding and adherence to bp Policies, T&S compliance policies and standards relevant to the role, and to the Code of Conduct.
• Work as necessary with colleagues in the Singapore origination team to screen Asian and Middle East markets for LNG opportunities, engage LNG suppliers, traders and users in order to advance these opportunities, make term sheet proposals on the basis of these opportunities and advance to detailed HOA and SPA negotiations leading to deal execution and implementation.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• An MBA or other postgraduate degree is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities Summary:

   Provide technical documentation, research pricing, and propose costs.
   Present products to management for approval.
3. Product Launch Support:
   -Act as a technical resource for marketing; provide briefs and training to sales teams.
4. Post-Launch Management:
   -Monitor industry trends and product performance, identifying improvements.
   Address formula-related issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Process Development & Compliance:
   -Develop and enforce SOPs aligned with industry standards and QMS requirements.
6. Additional Duties:
   -Participate in projects and tasks to support company goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in Nutrition, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Preferably, some experience in product development/management within the dietary supplement and health food industry.

Key Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Supervise all upcoming and ongoing projects, from tendering to final handover.
• Engage with clients and consultants on project matters, attending relevant meetings.
• Determine the need for a formal design control, verification, and validation program as required by tender or contract specifications.
• Review and validate design system details, coordinating with project managers and consultants to ensure service completeness and functionality.
• Assess pre-contract cost estimates, cash flow projections, feasibility studies, and cost analyses prepared by the QS team across all areas.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, materials, and specifications as outlined in contracts.

Lead and Manage Project Teams:

a. Deliver the service standards expected by clients and consultants.

b. Use materials that meet project specifications.

c. Ensure project schedules are adhered to and deadlines are met.

d. Quickly resolve issues that arise on project sites.

e. Continuously review, monitor, and improve project management processes, workmanship, and on-site quality.
