Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management
a) Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring a seamless dining and beverage experience.
b) Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and floor staff to ensure timely service.
c) Monitor the flow of service to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
2. Customer Service
a) Act as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking guests, providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly.
b) Handle complaints and special requests, ensuring a memorable guest experience.
c) Support the team in upholding Le Noir’s service standards.
3. Team Leadership
a) Supervise and guide the floor staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
b) Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate priorities, promotions, and service goals.
c) Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills, particularly in serving Chinese-speaking guests.
4. Sales and Promotions
a) Promote the sale of food and beverages, including upselling signature cocktails, wines, and dishes.
b) Collaborate with management to implement promotions and monitor their effectiveness.
c) Assist in achieving sales targets and motivating the team to reach individual and outlet goals.
5. Administrative Duties
a) Maintain accurate documentation, including reservation details, incident reports, and staff attendance records.
b) Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
c) Monitor inventory levels, particularly for Chinese-centric menu items, and report shortages to management.
6. Language Support
a) Translate menus, promotions, and other materials into Chinese if required.
b) Provide language assistance to non-Chinese-speaking staff when communicating with Chinese-speaking guests.
7. Event Support
a) Assist in coordinating events with Chinese-speaking clients, including menu selection and setup preferences.
b) Oversee special requests during events to ensure smooth execution.
Jobs Requirements:
Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience in a supervisory role within the F&B or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
Familiarity with Chinese dining customs and preferences is an advantage.
