Reporting to the Head of Asia Economics, you will be a part of Greater China team, developing research ideas and helping to produce the macroeconomic forecasts as part of our Global Macro Service. This is an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing part of the company. You will also be required to present to clients and field their queries in the first instance.

You will be looking primarily at themes affecting the Greater China region from a top-down macro perspective, but you will also be expected to be contribute to shaping our view and research themes on the region. Collaborating with the rest of the Asia macro team and our regional macro teams globally will be a central part of your role.

You have a flair for good writing and are a confident presenter who enjoys presenting innovative research and can build strong client relationships over time.

Person Specification

The profile, orientation, and skills that you will bring to the team include:

• More than five years’ experience as a macroeconomist covering the Great China region.
• Strong track record in forecasting and writing independent research reports to tight deadlines
• Excellent academic training with an advanced degree in economics – a top Masters or a Doctorate will help you stand out.

Infrastructure Engineer

The M365 Messaging Engineer is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Microsoft 365 within the Client’s organization. He/She works with a team of engineers on the operation of the M365 systems, responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of M365 systems ensuring operational high availability.

Mandatory skillset: Possess strong technical experience (i.e., hands-on in M365 configuration and implementation).

• Work with the Team Lead and the group of M365 engineers to design and deploy new Microsoft 365 solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Co-pilot among others to improve ways of working in the organization.

• Perform daily health checks of M365 using various type of devices such as BYOD, PED devices.

• Provide technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolve system/application issues.

• Provide technical answers & advice to technical queries escalated from the helpdesk or users.

• Work within the M365 team to learn, discover and equip with the latest M365 service offerings & product knowledge.

• Explore ways to adopt or adapt Microsoft’s new M365 offerings, such as the Power Platform, based on Client’s business requirements.

• Keen to explore M365 services/offerings by setting up and test the new services in the Client’s test M365 Tenant environment.

• Provide operational support and troubleshooting of the main Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams Online Messaging Infrastructures

• Support Directory synchronization support between on-premise AD and Microsoft Entra

• Provide Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Mobile Application Management (MAM) Support

• Act on M365 service outages by keeping the Client informed and ensuring optimal SLA results.

• Work with other technical teams including Client’s network & Firewall team, as necessary, to ensure a secure, optimal connectivities to M365 Cloud

• Creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation
