Key Responsibilities:

1. Merchandising:

Facilitate Range Merchandising process.

• Responsible for overall merchandise planning for SEA.
• Identify areas of opportunities and work closely with APAC team to find solution and merchandise support.
• Accountable for the merchandising requirements for all SEA markets across all channels; wholesale, retail, and e-commerce.
• Ensure the assortment strategies are in line with regional APAC plans and appropriate for the SEA market and strategic direction.

Analysis, Reporting and Range Merchandising.

• Arrange Merchandise Meetings and reviews with Regional and Country teams, reporting on merchandise KPI’s and planning.
• Work with Merchandising leads and Demand Planning to ensure they have all the required merchandise information to accurately purchase and forecast.
• Work closely with Regional Merchandise Managers to ensure plans are aligned with regional and global direction.
• Regional sales conference merchandise leadership in collaboration with regional teams.
• Responsible for NB sell in and sell through performance reporting.

Merchandise Co-ordination.

• Co-ordinate sample order reviews and deliver feedback to Regional Merchandise Managers to timelines.
• Assist in preparing SEA merchandise forecasting in accordance with global GTM calendar. Then work with forecasting and sales team to execute.
• Inline range preparation for effective GTM execution.
• Assist at all Key Account range sells ins and clearly define segmentation and distribution planning.

2 Market and Consumer Knowledge.

• Communicate consumer and marketplace insights where appropriate.
• Responsible for NB sell in and sell through performance.
• Understand NB consumer profile and align merchandise strategy to the target consumer.
• Be aware of market and NB performance, trend analysis and spend appropriate time in the relevant marketplace.
• Develop expertise on target consumer and retail environment.
• Closely monitor competitor brands and provide feedback.

3. Go to Market.

• Build a merchandise assortment line to support SEA business go to market needs, including costing sheet, margin, and pricing analysis.
• Present seasonal merchandise updates and new product launches at regional sales conferences and support Key Account presentations.
• Handover merchandise GTM kits to sales team including, presentation files, samples, variation lists, catalogue information and pricelists.

4. Department Administration.

• Successfully govern key merchandise functions and needs to deliver annual objectives in line with calendars and company goals.
• Prepare for and engage in regular WIP meetings with Footwear and Apparel Merchandise teams.
• Ensure all GEP pricing, codes and SKU information are communicated.
• Maintain costing sheets and system product information.

5. Reporting.

• Direct reporting into SEA Regional Manager with dotted line to APAC Merchandise GM.
• Manage direct reports for footwear and apparel for Singapore and Malaysia.
• Provide supporting role for SEA distributor business.

6. NB DTC Support.

• Assist & support NB Retail and e-Commerce product requirements to drive growth, commercial value, and elevated product positioning.
• Work closely with the respective Business Managers on range planning requirements.

7. Other Responsibilities.

• Attend relevant meetings for the Region and provide direction and input where required.

Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:

The Director, Market Analysis plays a crucial role in supporting Singapore Trading activities by providing oversight and guidance to the Market Analysts group. Join our Quantitative Analytics and Treasury Services (“QATS”) practice within the Financial Services - Financial Accounting Advisory Services (“FAAS”) and you’ll assist our clients to address the various quantitative and treasury challenges facing their business. You’ll be part of a team that provides quantitative services in valuation of financial instruments, private equity investments and credit modelling for financial institutions, and the treasury services that leverage analytics, automation, and innovation to build a stronger and more efficient corporate treasury function for our client.

You will experience, through interactions with internal and external clients, together with exposures to various industry sectors (e.g. banking, transportations, commodity, utilities, oil & gas, e-commerce, fintech and etc).

Responsibilities

• Valuation
  Assist in daily independent valuation of financial instruments to private equity investments
  Assist in reviewing of client’s valuation model, and in performing independent verification and validation of the pricing model and underlying assumptions/parameters
  Perform sensitivity analysis against various risk factors
  Assist in documentation of testing results and findings
• Credit Modelling
  Assist in model development and model validation of credit risk models for Basel and IFRS 9 purposes
  Assist in identifying sources of model risk through comprehensive review of all model components and developmental evidence, and in challenging the assumptions and the basis of which the components are being derived
  Assist in using data analytics or statistical modelling methodologies in performing validation, and in producing results to be analyzed from statistical as well as business perspective.
  Assist in documentation of model validation reports and/or presentations
• Treasury
  Get involved in discussions on treasury consulting work to understand the objective of the work, key tasks to be performed, and the expected deliverables.
  Assist in delivering high-quality work by supporting a broad range of Treasury projects which may include liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, risk management, Treasury technology, post-merger integration and organizational design
  Execute the assigned tasks on hand and regularly update your supervisor or senior members on the progress.
  Assist in documentation of findings and/or presentations, which may contain the approach and methodology adopted in the assessment, the explanation behind the assumptions adopted, and the assessment results.
  Project Management - Contribute to managing projects which includes packaging overall project findings into clear, concise and high-quality deliverables
