Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships, APAC, will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships across the APAC region. This role will focus on building and nurturing relationships with key partners in the sports, entertainment, and cultural sectors, including media companies, sports organizations, influencers, and cultural institutions. The goal is to create innovative and impactful campaigns for Google that leverage the reach and influence of these partners. This role will work closely with PMMs, Medialabs, and other key stakeholders within Google and MFG.
Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and secure new partnership opportunities across APAC that align with Google's marketing objectives and Creative Futures' vision. This includes researching and approaching potential partners, negotiating agreements, and ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and new partners, ensuring clear communication, regular engagement, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with Google PMMs and Medialabs to ensure partnerships are strategically aligned with campaign goals and overall marketing strategy. This includes understanding campaign objectives and target audiences to identify the most relevant and impactful partnerships.
- Innovation: Drive innovation in creative and media through partnerships, exploring new technologies, platforms, and audience engagement strategies.
- Partnerships Campaign Integration: Lead the integration of partnerships into Stream 2 campaigns, maximizing impact and driving measurable results. This includes developing joint campaign strategies, co-creating content, and leveraging partner platforms for distribution and promotion.
- Regional Collaboration: Work closely with regional and local MFG teams to share best practices, campaign information, and global processes related to partnerships. This includes providing guidance and support to local teams in developing and executing partnership-driven campaigns.
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging opportunities in the partnership landscape, sharing insights and best practices with internal and external stakeholders. This includes attending industry events, conducting research, and developing thought leadership content.
- Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports and insights to demonstrate the value and impact of partnerships. Key performance indicators (KPIs) may include:
- Reach and Engagement: Audience reach, impressions, social media engagement, website traffic.
- Brand Awareness and Perception: Brand lift studies, sentiment analysis, earned media coverage.
- Conversion and Sales: Lead generation, website conversions, product sales attributable to partnerships.
