We are seeking experienced Heads of Talent who can support in designing and implementing a comprehensive Founder Talent Strategy, with a specific focus on identifying and securing two key hires critical to scaling client operations over the next 18–24 months. While not acting as a recruiter, incumbent will cast a wide net to attract a pool of high-caliber candidates, advise on talent selection, and support client in identifying and securing the best-fit candidates for these critical roles.
Deliverables:
· Founder Talent Strategy Development and Implementation:
o Collaborate with client stakeholders to design a Founder Talent Strategy that aligns with the venture’s scaling objectives and operational needs.
o Develop and implement an approach to identify, attract, and engage candidates for the two critical roles.
o Advise on the alignment of candidate profiles with client’s long-term goals and support client in making final hiring decisions.
· Founder Talent Up-Skilling Sessions:
o Conduct sessions with client(s) on key topics, such as Founder Archetypes, Founder Evaluation, and best practices for building founding teams.
o Provide tailored training materials to equip client stakeholders with tools to assess, evaluate, and engage with potential candidates effectively.
· Talent Attraction and Candidate Engagement:
o Run a broad and strategic talent attraction campaign to attract a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates for client’s critical roles.
o Advise client through the evaluation and selection process, ensuring that the right candidates are identified for the right roles.
o Support client in candidate engagement and communications to secure their commitment.
· Governance and Documentation:
o Document the processes, tools, and learnings from talent identification and acquisition to create a repeatable framework for future hiring needs.
o Provide regular updates to client teams on the progress and outcomes of the Founder Talent Strategy and recruitment efforts.
· Accountability and Boundaries:
o Role is advisory and strategic in nature. While incumbent will play a key role in identifying and supporting candidate engagement, the processing of candidate data, recruitment decisions and employment agreements remain the sole responsibility of client.
o Incumbent will not engage in activities requiring a recruitment license but will focus on attracting the right candidates and advising client through the process.
· Confirmation and Feedback Mechanisms:
o All deliverables will be reviewed and formally acknowledged as completed by the Client.
Feedback will be provided by client stakeholders at the conclusion of the engagement, assessing the effectiveness of the Founder Talent Strategy, the quality of the talent pool, and Incumbent’s contributions to securing the two critical hires.
