Goldman Sachs is seeking an AI Quant to join our Applied AI Team. As an AI Quant, you will leverage your expertise in quantitative trading, statistics, and machine learning to develop and implement AI-driven quantitative technologies that enhance revenue generation and foster innovation within the firm.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams and divisions on pioneering projects that integrate artificial intelligence with quantitative finance, such as time series forecasting, market making, and pricing. As an AI Quant, you will tackle the unique challenges associated with machine learning systems in the quant trading domain. Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• A Master or Ph.D. degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Programming experience in quantitative trading, with buy-side or sell-side experience preferred.
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, and experience with common data science toolkits.
• Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to work in a collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):

Client and relationship:

· Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day affairs, with supervision where necessary, and ensure that all communication, whether written or spoken in a professional manner;

· Maintain good relationship with clients;

· Respond to and deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner

· Ensure that the manager is kept up to date with any issues arising from the client or its activities

Service provision:

· Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system

· Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on timely basis

· Handle the banking of cheques into bank accounts on timely basis

· Handle accounts receivables and accounts payables

· Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules

· Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purpose

· Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet

· Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing

· Handle corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing

· Compilation of accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report)

· Liaising with external auditor

· Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing

· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;

· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Proactive and committed to meet deadline;

· Pleasant personality and organised.

· At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage.

· Experience of auditing or tax (corporate income tax) will be an advantage.

· Experience of usage of Quickbooks, Xero, SAGE will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Benefits:

· Performance bonus will be considered (average: 2 months for past a few years)

· Company trip (year 2024 : trip to Japan) may conduct once in 2 to 3 years

· Team building has been conducted once every 2 months. (the company gave some budget and team can organize lunch or activity)

· Manager distributed work schedule (list of assigned task in a month) to each staff at the beginning of month based on the position and capability to avoid giving heavy workload to each staff

The role is to provide legal support on all legal aspects of the Group Wealth Management business while focusing on the following areas:

· Corporate Office

· Regulatory

· Client complaints and Litigation

· Projects

• Ensure that effective, accurate legal advice is given on all matters of strategic and operational importance to the bank, taking into account GWM’s business objectives
• Facilitate GWMs business objectives and meet all internal clients’ needs while managing legal, regulatory and reputational risks
• Ensure that all legal requirements applicable to GWM’s operations are met within the Bank’s business framework, given the different laws and regulations applicable in different jurisdictions where GWM has presence
• Manage competing priorities and meet the tight timelines of ongoing projects, while also responding efficiently to internal clients on day-to-day BAU matters
• Manage legal costs for the Bank

Legal Advisory

• Give legal advice on issues relating to GWM’s operation of business, projects, financial products, credit transactions and investment activities
• Advise on day-to-day issues relating to banking secrecy and data privacy, cross border conduct of business, client management, vendor and contract management, employment and outsourcing

Draft and review documents

• Draft and review the bank’s account-related documentation as well as documentation relating to credit products, investment products, discretionary mandates and insurance products.

Projects / initiatives

• Provide legal representation on GWM’s regional initiatives as well as legal support in relation to implementation of new technological platforms, cross border business arrangements and launch of new products.

Risk management

• Safeguard the bank’s reputation by ensuring that the business is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines in the jurisdictions where GWM conducts business

Educational Qualifications

• Law degree holder with at least 7-10 years of proven experience in wealth management (including private banking) within a law firm and/or a bank, specifically, in the high net-worth and mass affluent space, and/or retail banking experience.
