Position Title: System Analyst (Cards Disputes)
Software Requirements:
- Proficient in requirement analysis, effort estimation, and application solution design for Cards Core Issuing and acquiring processes.
- Familiarity with card payment networks and dispute management systems.
- Strong understanding of technical interface specifications and documentation.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Lead discussions with business and IT teams to gather requirements and prepare technical specifications.
- Document functional designs and work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, and end-users for application development and enhancements.
- Prepare functional solution documents and present them to stakeholders for sign-off.
- Review detailed technical designs, code, test strategies, and results; manage defect triaging.
- Guide users in setting up card parameters for new business initiatives, including products and pricing.
- Support users in the end-to-end reconciliation process.
- Collaborate with testing teams to support system integration, user acceptance, regression, and performance testing.
- Provide post-implementation support and address any immediate issues.
- Identify, escalate, and manage risks related to projects and processes.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
- Strong capability in requirement analysis and functional solution documentation.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of CICS, COBOL, COBOL batch processing, JCLs, Easytrieve, VSAM, and other mainframe utilities.
- Experience with Cardlink/VisionPlus systems is preferred.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Experience in user acceptance testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
Collaboration Tools:
- Familiarity with project management and documentation tools to facilitate communication and project tracking.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in System Analysis, particularly in the Cards Functional Domain.
- Proven experience in card payment networks and dispute management processes.
- History of working in large development organizations within a globally distributed environment.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Conduct requirement analysis and document functional specifications for new card dispute functionalities.
- Facilitate discussions with business and IT stakeholders to align on project objectives.
- Review and validate technical designs and testing strategies.
- Guide users through parameter setup and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support various testing phases and ensure all critical functions are covered.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Advanced certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional - CBAP) are a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
