  The selected candidate(s) will be a key member of a small team working at the company’s flagship operation in Singapore, carrying out various business development and customer relationship related initiatives across the organization. As a Mechanical Architect you will be the driving force for the development of high-tech, highly complex systems for professional mechatronic equipment, and enable optimal functionality and cost effective engineering of those systems. Starting during the pre-concept phase, you act as a counterpart for the Project Manager within T&D for scoping the project and challenging our customer. While going through the different design phases, you will be the driving force who challenges the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of the proposed design solutions, bringing together the multidisciplinary team on a technical level while acting as a technical counterpart on system level with our customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Quotation Phase: create a plan with scope, cost and lead time estimation together with the project team and the customer.
• Feasibility phase: consolidate customer requirement specifications into an investigation of the feasibility of (mechanical) concepts.
• Definition Phase: develop Description of System Design Requirements and Specifications and discuss them with internal/external stakeholders.
• System Design Phase: generation of system design concepts and reviews:
• Develop well-considered choices, validated against system requirements
• Definition of high level modules and related technical interfaces
• Monitor that projects stay within agreed specifications.
• Make use of your creativity and helicopter view to find solutions in case of conflicts
• Detail Phase: supervise the creation of 3-D models and drawings, ensuring (sub)module interfaces meet their respective requirements.
• System integration and verification: verify design / the chosen concept on the requirements by means of functional models or (pre-)proto production.
• Production release: release the design for production.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, preferably with a focus on construction / precision mechanics.
• At least 10 years of relevant working experience (semicon, precision mechanics, or similar).
• Extensive knowledge of mechanic design principles, accurate positioning, dynamic behavior, material properties, strength and stiffness.
• Deep understanding and experience in the different design phases ranging from conceptual design up to Proto- and Pilot evaluation.
• Experienced in multidisciplinary projects, knowing dependency between electrical, electromechanical and mechanical (sub)systems in both the static and dynamic domain.
• User of 3D design tools (e.g. NX or SolidWorks).
• User of product lifecycle management systems (e.g. TeamCenter or EPDM).

Purpose: To create, control and manage changes to customer's Technical Product Data (TPD) packages (Items, Bill of Materials, Product specification documents) in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. To deploy TPD changes to the relevant Persons-in-Charge (PICs) for execution.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Check the correctness and completeness of product packages, such as Technical Product Data (TPD) and Bill of Materials (BOM) received from customers.
• Work with the user of TPDs to define the new TPD requirement and update the ISO document (for new customers or any change in TPD requirement).
• Maintain required customer items, BOM, and TPDs in PLM and ERP systems.
• Create and control the item part number, BOM and TPD in the PLM and ERP systems.
• Create projects in the ERP system for the fulfillment of customer Sales orders.
• Implement Engineering Change Order (ECOs) and deploy the changes to the next inline PIC (such as planner, purchaser, process engineer and Sales & Program dept.)
• Check and ensure all required information for the TPD (items, BOMs, documents) and/or configuration change are provided, and approved by the customer.
• Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Science or relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of working as a product data engineer in the semiconductor industry or similar position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions
• Good communication skills

Purpose: Responsible for the complete end-to-end planning, direction, and coordination of all the manufacturing processes related to system integration for a specific project. Together with the program team, the Manufacturing Engineer is to ensure that assembly can meet costs, quality, and delivery requirements.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Design of production layout to enable production to fulfill build plan forecast or pre-defined production run rate.
• Define requirements for assembly tools and equipment to support product realization and build plan.
• Participate actively in PQP to ensure that risks are identified, and preventive actions defined and implemented.
• Implement a certification program for assembly to ensure that assembly module leads are trained and certified to carry out specific assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with the Process Engineer in the design of the assembly Kit Kart for issue of materials into the clean room and effective handling of materials inside the production area.
• Lead in resolving technical problems faced by Assembly, and resolve internal and customer quality complaints.
• Monitor assembly capacity of the program, and perform ramp assessment when required, to fulfill build plan system delivery.
• Contribute to the system build progress meetings together with the program team to meet on-time delivery targets.
• Evaluate assembly efficiency and implement improvements to achieve the calculated standard time.
• Monitor all customer's consigned equipment to ensure all are inventoried, calibrated, and maintained regularly.
• Identify and implement improvements to shorten production cycle time, improve overall production efficiency, improve quality performance, enhance safety or to boost sustainability.
• Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision or Industrial Engineering)
• At least 3 year of experience as an engineer in the manufacturing assembly environment.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.
