RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a technical expertise in assessing sites, conducting detailed drawings, and estimating Solar project capacity and costs.
• Formulate comprehensive design specifications and functional requirements for the region, ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Complete system designs for projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of balance of system location and interconnection details.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of factors influencing system performance.
• Partner with the O&M Team to evaluate system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform software simulations of solar photovoltaic (PV) system performance & energy production
• Execute design calculations, encompassing voltage drop analysis, fault current assessments, and system optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contract specifications and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and optimizing project outcomes including on-site engineering support.
• Collaborate closely with contractors to review and approve engineering drawing submissions, maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Solar PV system design / engineering.

Purpose of role

To provide on-site support and manage reliability contract of mechanical seals for customers in Singapore.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist and guide seal installation / removal on site
• On site pump /seal initial assessment and inspection
• Commissioning of seal system
• Perform 5-point checks on the equipment’s prior to seal installation
• Conduct site tours, identify preventive activities (for eg: monitoring plan 11/13/23 for temperatures, pressures for plan 52/53A/B/C, flow monitoring on plan 54, bearing oil condition monitoring and general leakage on the equipment) and implement recommendations proactively to eliminate potential causes of seal failures.
• Co-ordinate seal activation and tracking
• Ensure and monitor timely repair of seals
• Prepare Inspection Reports and perform failure analysis
• To conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA’s) for bad actors in the plant
• Be responsible for reliability data management, trending, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct monthly (Alliance Improvement team)/quarterly/ yearly meeting with stakeholders
• Prepare monthly and yearly reports for external stakeholders.

• Maintain the equipment & seal database and failure history using John Crane Interface Reliability Management software for all equipment within the scope of the contract.

The lab officer?s responsibilities include sample preparation, characterization, measurement, and mechanical testing. The lab officer also supports group?s research activities through procurement, design of experiments, equipment scheduling, risks identification and assessment to ensure efficient and safe operation of our labs. There will be opportunities to acquire advanced CAD/CAM skills and equipment operations through involvement in industry and competitively funded projects related to remanufacturing process technologies. The roles and responsibilities include the following areas:

-Perform material testing, sample preparation, dimensional measurements, surface quality inspection, microstructure & defects analysis.

-Tracking and managing lab resource utilization, procurement, and delivery.

-Storage space management and optimization.

-Ensure high operational readiness by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and liaising for repairs.
