Responsibilities:

1. Assist M&E Engineer, Superintending Officer Representation (SO Rep) and Resident Engineer (RE) in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site
2. Provide standing supervision as and when required by the M&E Engineer, SO Rep and RE
3. To ensure all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications
4. Liaise with the Contractors/ sub-contractors and other Resident Technical Officers (RTO) in the coordination of site works
5. Highlight discrepancies, resolve site M&E issues and monitor site progress
6. Feedback site progress and irregularities to M&E Engineer, SO Rep and RE
7. Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning
8. To check as-built drawings to tally with site installation
9. Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the site
10. Documentation of site records, ie. Inspection records, T&C records, site meetings etc.
11. Aware of the potential and actual OH&S hazards of his activities at the workplace and to highlight / communicate to the PM when he knows of any irregularities. He shall be aware of his individual OH&S obligations by ensuring that he is adequately equipped with appropriate safety gears, by observing closely to all safety rules / regulations / procedures at site and by attending all relevant site safety trainings.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical or Building Services Engineering from local Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing
2. Minimum eight (8) years of M&E work experience as a Resident Technical Officer
3. Conversant in local construction practices, air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary services.
4. Good co-ordination skills

Qualifications and Profile

· Candidates should have 7 years experience in relevant activities.

Technical

· At least 5 years’ experience working with C#, and particularly modern, cross-platform .NET

· A strong understanding of advanced C# language features, such as async/await, dependency injection, etc.

· Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with strong fundamentals in complexity analysis

· Good knowledge of development tools: Jenkins, GIT, SVN, Azure DevOps or equivalent

Position

The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Capital Market IT applications (in-house and package) used worldwide, covering Front Office (Murex, Apex, Orchestrade…), Back Office (Summit, Calypso…), Market data referential (Asset Control..), Market Risk (in-house application on big data technologies).

The Repo and Secured Funding (RSF) IT division, works across the full value chain to sustain business activity and enable its acceleration..

This role aims to take the lead of one of our Calypso back office IT team in Singapore, in project mode as well as in maintenance mode, to support the “build and run the bank” function. It requires a deep understanding of the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. The build and support team continuously works with business users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

“Run the bank” and “Build the bank” are the first missions of our IT department. It involves many front line IT professionals who understand the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems.They are continuously working with business users, infrastructure engineer and system managers.

Main responsibilities

As a hands-on Delivery Manager and Run Specialist Lead, you will be part of an international team focused on running and supporting the bank’s RSF Platform developed around Calypso, a software package from Nasdaq, and in house’s solutions.

Build & change management

· Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products.

· Propose solutions in collaboration with Architects.

· Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.

· Coordinate run and build the bank.

· Monthly releases, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding and testing.

· Support the release roadmap in production.

Release management

· Define and implement in coordination with the release schedule of the Calypso applications

· Supervise and coordinate the release activities with the various stakeholders (I.e. Build team, Application Support…)

· Contribute in the continuous improvement of the release processes, tools and automation

Application monitoring responsibilities

· Define and implement in coordination with build team the needed application monitoring

· Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user request by working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams

· Support overnight batches which take place during the Singapore Morning and early afternoon time to ensure that problems are swiftly analyzed and resolved to minimize down-time.

· Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly run.

Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)

· Provide level 1, 2 and 3 application support to the business users (E.g. trader, risk manager, market risk monitoring operator, back-office and middle-office analyst, market data administrator,…)

· Analyze and manage incidents/problems/requests coming

Problem management and continuous improvement

· Prepare and maintain knowledge base for each of the application in the scope of the team in coordination with the build team and the ops team

· Collaborate with build team to assess the priority of the problem and follow-up the resolution, even contributing to the definition of long term solution.

· Provide non-functional requirement to the build team to implement monitoring as code whenever available.

The delivery manager should have a pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service. Candidate should have a strong appetite in the capital market functional business.

Qualifications and Profile

· Experience on Calypso versions v14 to v17.

· In depth knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, ScheduledTask, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framwork, Reconciliation features.

· Understanding of financial assets (Fixed Income, Money market...) and trade lifecycle with a deeper knowledge of Bonds, Repos and Securities.

· Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.

· Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.

· Hands-on experience in implementation projects.

· AGILE track record.

· Experience in implementing NR scenarios.

· Willing to do L3 Support if required.

· Proficient in software development life cycle and Devops concepts
