Position Overview:
Seeking for a veterinary cardiologist that is a board-certified specialist focused on diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases in animals. Collaborates with veterinary teams to provide advanced care for patients with heart and vascular conditions, using specialized diagnostics and therapeutic techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consultation and Collaboration:

• Work closely with veterinarians in other departments and veterinary specialists e.g. Internal Medicine and Emergency and Critical Care Specialists to manage complex cardiac cases.
• Provide clear communication to clients about diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.

2. Cardiovascular Diagnostics:

• Perform advanced diagnostic procedures, including echocardiography, electrocardiography (ECG), cardiac catheterization, and radiographic evaluation.

3. Patient Care and Treatment:

• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual patient’s condition, including medical management, interventional procedures, and lifestyle modifications.
• Perform minimally invasive procedures such as pacemaker implantation, balloon valvuloplasty, and other catheter-based interventions.

4. Monitoring and Follow-Up:

• Monitor patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions, ensuring continuity of care and adjustments to treatment as needed.
• Educate clients on home care, medications, and warning signs of disease progression.

5. Training and Education:

• Train veterinarians and veterinary interns in cardiology techniques and care.
• Offer continuing education opportunities to veterinarians from other departments about recognizing and managing cardiac conditions.
• Train veterinary technicians on the necessary technicians relating to various cardiac procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Board certification in Veterinary Cardiology (e.g., by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine [ACVIM] in the Cardiology specialty).
• Experience: Prior experience in a clinical or academic cardiology role is preferred.

Mediatek’s Memory Design Automation team is looking for fresh talent to join us as a modeling engineer for the development of behavioral, FPGA, timing and DFT simulation models. The role will be required to create, debug and optimize SRAM models for ASIC design flow.

About the team:

The Mediatek’s Memory modelling team collaborates with the world-wide memory design teams to create and qualify front-end models for use in the ASIC design flow. Team members will also be expected to perform circuit design verification to ensure memory circuits robustness.

What you do:

• Develop and integrate automation code into existing memory compilers to generate models meant for ASIC design flow.
• Develop automation flow and scripts with Perl or Python.

The broad aim of the project is to develop novel approaches and technologies for fully de-fossilised routes to complex functional molecules and molecular materials. The project will also explore novel synthetic methods for conversion of the building blocks into end-use functional molecules. Novel synthesis technologies (photoelectrochemistry, sonochemistry, mechanochemistry, etc), as well as advanced research methods (AI, chemoinformatics, high-throughput synthesis) and process metrics (LCA and technoeconomic analysis) are included in this large project.

The project:

In the context of the multi-partner project HYCOMBS (https://www.cares.cam.ac.uk/research/hycombs/), which is part of Singapore’s CREATE investment in Decarbonisation (https://www.nrf.gov.sg/files/Media_Release_CREATE_Decarbonisation_Challenge_with_ANNEX_A__B_final.pdf), a large number of positions have become available to research hydrogen and ammonia combustion.

The project is a collaborative effort between CARES, CNRS, NTU, NUS, NTNU (National Technical University of Norway) and Tohoku University (Japan). All the positions are held in Singapore and will normally last 2 years in the first instance, with the possibility to extend if funding is available. The successful candidate will be working under the academic supervision of one of the project’s partners depending on the particular skills and interests of the researcher. Short stays in Japan, France and Norway for working in the partner laboratories are envisaged for some of these positions. Who are we looking for?

We are seeking highly motivated combustion researchers to work in the following areas:

1) Kinetics: (i) Experiments with flow reactors and laminar flames. The successful applicant will be skilled in analytical combustion chemistry systems such as gas chromatography and laser detection; (ii) Development of detailed and reduced chemical mechanisms. Experience in combustion chemistry modelling is needed.

2) Laminar and turbulent flame fundamentals: (i) Experiments with laminar pulsed and turbulent swirl flames. Skills in flame rig design, laser diagnostics and optical methods for flames are needed. (ii) Modelling with combustion Computational Fluid Dynamics (DNS, LES), with experience in the fundamentals of turbulent combustion, CFD and massively-parallel computations.

3) High-pressure combustion: Experiments and simulations for reciprocating engines and gas turbines. For the experimental positions, the successful candidate must be skilled in optical diagnostics, engine combustion, swirl combustion, fluids handling and data analysis. For the modelling positions, experience in CFD of engines or gas turbine combustors is a prerequisite.

4) Detonations and ignition risk analysis with CFD. The position involves high-order CFD methods for capturing detonations and turbulent flow analysis for ignition. The successful candidate must be experienced with CFD.

Core Requirements of the Post

In fulfilling the requirements of the post, the Science Laboratory Technician will aspire to the highest standards of professionalism and will, in particular:

▪ Schedule the availability of, prepare and provide apparatus, equipment and other teaching materials as requested by the Science Teachers in the Faculty. These may include chemicals, biological material, equipment, models, and disposable material such as stationery.

▪ Collect and clear away equipment and chemicals, and other teaching material once it is finished with, including safely disposing of waste and washing-up apparatus (using the dishwasher, where appropriate)

▪ Check for faulty and damaged equipment after each lesson, report to the Science Teacher and or Head of Faculty (as appropriate), and repair or replace the equipment, if possible.

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Operate an up to date, efficient, remotely accessible, online system of monitoring the storage of chemicals, equipment and materials used in the laboratories.

▪ Monitor breakages of equipment and ensure that active inventory levels are maintained.

▪ Assist in updating record of inventory levels and locations of backup equipment, such that end of year ordering is efficient.

▪ Assist in annual, final, stock check of all chemicals, disposable materials, glassware and other apparatus, so that new materials may be ordered.

▪ Adhere to NAE and IGCSE/IBO/CIS/WASC specifications and requirements

▪ Keep storage areas clean and well organised

▪ Clean all equipment including special equipment and glassware needing special care or treatment.

▪ Ensure the safe storage, care and handling of chemicals, safe disposal of residues and wastes, including micro-organisms.

▪ Unpack and check orders within one week of delivery. Inform HoF if any equipment is faulty or materials are missing, and follow up as directed.

▪ Review equipment needs within the department and advise on purchase of new and replacement of equipment. Order materials as requested

Safety and Risk Assessing (ensuring that we all are aware of safety issues)

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Have a complete CLEAPSS Hazcards reference for all chemicals in the prep room

▪ Ensure written Science Laboratory Technician specific Risk Assessments are in place for all equipment, apparatus and materials (as necessary) prior to their use, and writing and preparing the risk assessments as necessary.

▪ Provide CLEAPSS Hazcards every time a chemical is used in class

▪ Comply with all Health and Safety standards and regulations issued by Stamford and external agencies including NAE, IGCSE, IBO, CIS, and WASC

▪ Main First-aider within the faculty (Training will be provided).

Technical Support (assisting others to plan for use and use equipment)

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Assist teachers, as requested, to facilitate student learning with respect to specific outcomes

Professional Responsibilities

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Support the life of the school beyond the classroom;

Preparation of practical materials for classes

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ The system in place shall allow the laboratory technician ample time to prepare the materials required for a class. If special consumable purchases need to be made, teachers should allow a week, or arrange purchases themselves.

▪ Teachers can expect labs to be prepared on time if two days notice is given. Labs will be cleaned from classrooms on the day that they are noted as completed.

▪ It is not the lab technicianʼs responsibility to plan lab activities for classes. Lab activities should be planned as an integral part of a unit and designed to achieve specific learning outcomes.

The Data Science and AI/ML team collaborates across the organization to identify, develop and deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) powered software solutions that improve patient outcomes, delight our partners and customers, and improve the way we do business in an “AI First” fashion. On any given day, the team could be working on building sophisticated models to delivering personalized recommendations to patients to improve their sleep, identify optimal equipment and settings using our unparalleled store of billion+ nights of sleep data, proactively identify other health risk factors, or help optimize complex, global supply chain operations. Wherever there is high value to be gained for the patient or customer (external or internal), we employ a rigorous process to develop specific ML driven solutions to realize that value quickly.

As a Technical Program Manager in an agile Medical Software Product Development environment, you will be responsible for planning, tracking, and end-to-end delivery of complex programs of work. You will work with internal technical and non-technical teams, stakeholders, external groups, suppliers and other organizations, with a focus on delivery of value to customers, both external and internal. You will have a relentless focus on the customer and use data to inform decision-making. You will be strategically focused to build durable solutions for our customers

What you will do:

• You will be responsible for program planning and tracking, focusing on regular and timely delivery of value to end customers
• Work with product managers, engineering managers, program managers and other stakeholders to ensure team alignment with commitments to the businesses and sync points with other teams
• Manage risks and issues and be accountable for escalating as required, ensuring resolution to program issues, managing resource constraints, dependencies and timing challenges and syncing dependencies across teams
• Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
• Provide status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans, and issues for assigned program
• Manage software release activities and documentation, including coordination with all applicable stakeholders
• Establish and regularly review key team metrics including resourcing, and performance trends.
• Ensures stakeholder input is properly represented in the decisions regarding assigned projects or programs
• Consistently works to ensure complete transparency regarding the prioritization, content and direction of the program.
• Contribute to defining and improving delivery management processes to better support your team and stakeholders
• May be responsible for developing junior staff members through your knowledge sharing

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Combination of education and 7+ years of work experience will be considered
• 5+ years of Program/Project Management experience working directly with multiple agile ML ops teams
• Extensive experience with the toolset and technology specific to the GenAI projects, including but not limited to machine learning frameworks, natural language processing tools, and AI-driven analytics platforms.
• Experience working on or building MLOps platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience in implementing and managing MLOps practices to streamline machine learning workflows.
• Proficiency in using tools and technologies specific to MLOps, including automated machine learning pipelines, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) for machine learning models.
• Knowledge of best practices for monitoring, maintaining, and scaling machine learning models in production environments.
• Understanding of the Data Science software development lifecycle is required.
• Experience of Data Management to lead and organize short- and long-term planning of use cases within the bounds of data policy and regulation.
• Experience working in a modern cloud-based software product development environment.
• Experience managing programs in highly matrixed agile software development cultures while leading two or more teams at a time
• Experience in interfacing both with technical teams and business users spanning multiple geographies
• PSM I, CSM, PMP desired
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, along with outstanding time management and organization skills; adept in problem-solving, facilitating decision-making, and resolving conflict.
• This role is based in Singapore and will cover the India, Singapore & US operations region. The candidate should be flexible with timezone.
• Familiarity with agile software development tools such as Jira and Confluence preferred
