• Manage the allocated school premises by leading a team of two (2) Deputy Estate Development Managers.

Overview and Objective of the Position

The Senior Supply Chain Manager, Process Design – Deliver is a member of the MedTech TranSCend Supply Chain ERP program organization and will report into the Process End to End Design Leader.

The primary accountability of the role is to lead within Deliver workstream and to define, harmonize, and deliver Global ERP capabilities design and deployment, while delivering to the timeline and requirements provided by the Business Process Owner (BPO) and Subject Matter Experts (SME). The Senior Manager must drive alignment between BPO, GPO, SME’s, IT, and the project team to enable the solution and process blueprint in the ERP and the ecosystem.

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be an authority within their functional space and strive to deliver core business capabilities and products to meet critical business process needs within the Deliver area. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will establish, document, validate, and deploy these capabilities using the TranSCend program methodology and tools, while partnering with coordinated functions, data team, business adoption team, and technology team to ensure the capabilities are realized through program results.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning and executing of all process design while supporting build, test, and adoption activities within the functional area within the project team.
• Collaborate with GPO, SME, IT, and PMO on planning and prioritization of any process design and build requirements.
• Use process design methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence to drive comprehensive solutions within the scope of the project

Requirements

• An advanced Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Business or Supply Chain, MBA Specialization in Supply Chain & Operation Management or Graduate degree in Science, Business, Engineering (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with GxP and SOX requirements and regulations.
• Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence, etc.).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Deliver and minimum of 7 years of overall business experience within one of the following functions: Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, Logistics, or Analytics.
• Have at least 3 years of business process design, engineering, and optimization experience with hands-on systems design (i.e. ERP) experience.
• Familiar with building consensus and ability to negotiate trade off decisions across the organization.
• Proven understanding of MedTech Supply Chain.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

• Identify potential vendors and suppliers for M&E equipments (eg, Transformers, Cables, Switchgears, Electrical Panels, Lightings, circuit-breakers, etc).

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking highly motivated combustion researchers to work in the following areas:

1) Kinetics: (i) Experiments with flow reactors and laminar flames. The successful applicant will be skilled in analytical combustion chemistry systems such as gas chromatography and laser detection; (ii) Development of detailed and reduced chemical mechanisms. Experience in combustion chemistry modelling is needed.

2) Laminar and turbulent flame fundamentals: (i) Experiments with laminar pulsed and turbulent swirl flames. Skills in flame rig design, laser diagnostics and optical methods for flames are needed. (ii) Modelling with combustion Computational Fluid Dynamics (DNS, LES), with experience in the fundamentals of turbulent combustion, CFD and massively-parallel computations.

3) High-pressure combustion: Experiments and simulations for reciprocating engines and gas turbines. For the experimental positions, the successful candidate must be skilled in optical diagnostics, engine combustion, swirl combustion, fluids handling and data analysis. For the modelling positions, experience in CFD of engines or gas turbine combustors is a prerequisite.

4) Detonations and ignition risk analysis with CFD. The position involves high-order CFD methods for capturing detonations and turbulent flow analysis for ignition. The successful candidate must be experienced with CFD.

In fulfilling the requirements of the post, the Science Laboratory Technician will aspire to the highest standards of professionalism and will, in particular:

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Operate an up to date, efficient, remotely accessible, online system of monitoring the storage of chemicals, equipment and materials used in the laboratories.

▪ Monitor breakages of equipment and ensure that active inventory levels are maintained.

▪ Assist in updating record of inventory levels and locations of backup equipment, such that end of year ordering is efficient.

▪ Assist in annual, final, stock check of all chemicals, disposable materials, glassware and other apparatus, so that new materials may be ordered.

▪ Adhere to NAE and IGCSE/IBO/CIS/WASC specifications and requirements

▪ Keep storage areas clean and well organised

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Have a complete CLEAPSS Hazcards reference for all chemicals in the prep room

▪ Ensure written Science Laboratory Technician specific Risk Assessments are in place for all equipment, apparatus and materials (as necessary) prior to their use, and writing and preparing the risk assessments as necessary.

▪ Comply with all Health and Safety standards and regulations issued by Stamford and external agencies including NAE, IGCSE, IBO, CIS, and WASC

▪ Main First-aider within the faculty (Training will be provided).

Technical Support (assisting others to plan for use and use equipment)

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Assist teachers, as requested, to facilitate student learning with respect to specific outcomes

▪ Advise staff and visiting teachers about resources and equipment available.

▪ Advise teachers of laboratory activities that may support targeted learning outcomes.

Professional Responsibilities

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Support the life of the school beyond the classroom;

▪ Lead one or more after co-curricular activities;

▪ Participate in residential weeks and other trips;

▪ Contribute to whole school learning initiatives during term.

Preparation of practical materials for classes

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ The system in place shall allow the laboratory technician ample time to prepare the materials required for a class. If special consumable purchases need to be made, teachers should allow a week, or arrange purchases themselves.

▪ Teachers can expect labs to be prepared on time if two days notice is given. Labs will be cleaned from classrooms on the day that they are noted as completed.

▪ It is not the lab technicianʼs responsibility to plan lab activities for classes. Lab activities should be planned as an integral part of a unit and designed to achieve specific learning outcomes.

Position Requirements:

▪ Able to work with students and staff in secondary school.

▪ Up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and techniques in your specific skill base.

▪ Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.

▪ Able to assist students as needed both academically and during practical procedures

▪ Able to care for the wellbeing of small aquatic animals (fish and terrapin)

▪ Able to support enrichment activities such as field trips and after school programmes (Trips may occasionally go outside of school hours).

• Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure or equivalent for countries lived in outside of the UK.
