Summary:
Co-ordinate with respective factory teams including CLS Tech Support, CLS Production, HPE Procurement, Material team, HPE Product Engineering team, Test team etc. to ensure all area of focus are well prepared and ready for factory inspection.
Detailed Description:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Prepare product sample for agency inspection.
- Perform internal product compliance audits.
- Verify relevant documentation revision and content.
- Prepare and host Factory tour (Incoming Inspection/Production Lines/Finished Products/Lab/Testing areas) with auditor/HPE representative.
- Coordinate product safety factory inspection with relevant engineers (Test/PE/Procurement) and Production to ensure compliance to applicable HPE standards and product regulatory requirements.
- Pursue Supplier CoC availability by purchased batches as “verification of purchased parts” for critical component materials from relevant Proc Engr (e.g. power supply/ PCB/ plastic materials/ batteries/labels) that is requested by the agency auditor.
- Traceability of manufacturer and flame rating for incoming material e.g. plastic material/PCB used in products.
- Keep in touch with relevant Global Product Regulatory team to track and understand the updates to requirements.
- Report any regulatory changes/escalation to management and inform applicable departments.
- Track and maintain the latest version certificates and test reports from the certification body.
- Ensures that the processes are carried out and comply with the specifications required by customers and that it complies with the local requirements of the organization and the requirements of MPS (Manufacturing Process Standards)
- Ensures that the specifications, the acceptance criteria of the products by the operational staff are known and respected; ensures that operators comply with product quality inspection procedures in accordance with customer requirements
- Provides support in order to optimize processes, identifies and initiates opportunities to reduce costs
- Prepares and collects data from the key points of the processes and prepares the internal quality reports
- Monitors product yields, process (yield) and scrap rate (scrap) or other quality indicators
- Participates in the activities of PFMEA, 8D analysis and elaboration of Control Plan
- Assesses and updates working instructions for specific products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
- 4 to 6 years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge in manufacturing operations Understand quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology, etc
- Good understanding and familiarity with safety regulations such as UL, CSA, TUV, CCC and standards (60950-1, 62368-1), China standard GB 4943.1, GB 9254.1, GB 17625.1
- Good understanding in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (Certified ISO Internal Auditor Preferred)
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is crucial for identifying potential safety issues.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of product design, materials, and manufacturing processes, as well as quality and process improvements techniques and tools.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify potential safety issues and develop solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training, effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers teamwork skills;
