Role Overview

The individual will be a member of the Global IT Team. The person will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise network landscapes across Cloud, IT and OT environments. Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic

• Lead and coordinate incident resolution across different internal and vendor teams.

Requirements

Experience

This role will be handling tax advisory and operational compliance and reporting for all EDPR APAC geographies (except Vietnam and China).

• Provide expert tax advice on corporate structures, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing specific to the renewable energy sector in APAC.
• Advise on tax-efficient strategies related to international tax planning, cross-border transactions, and transfer pricing policies.
• Collaborate with wider finance team and business units to define and implement transfer pricing strategies, tax compliance and tax reporting controls.
• Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of tax incentives, credits, and subsidies available in the renewable energy sector across APAC countries.
• Oversee the implementation of transfer pricing policies and documentation in line with local regulations and global standards.
• Provide guidance on intercompany pricing arrangements and ensure compliance with applicable transfer pricing rules.
• Identify and assess tax risks, providing proactive solutions to mitigate potential tax exposures.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any tax audits, disputes, or inquiries from tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s tax governance framework and internal control processes.
• Manage and oversee the preparation and timely filing of tax returns (corporate income tax, GST, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, etc.) across the APAC region, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all corporate tax obligations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.
• Monitor tax legislation and regulatory changes within the APAC region to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields (specialization in taxation is a plus)
• At least 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably with 2 to 3 years of Big 4 experience and high-growth, MNC or listed companies
• Good knowledge with APAC and SG tax
• Hands on, driven and collaborative, and high work ownership

• To execute and administer research administration for projects hosted and co-hosted by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, including managing the departmental research portfolio, proposal grant submissions, grant life-cycle administration (from initiation to closure and audit), financial and audit reports to grantors and auditors, grant data management, and others.
• To assist in charting out and implementing research outreach and activities for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, including emerging research initiatives, research cluster activities and liaising with industry. • To assist in the writing, collation and documentation of research activities for the research clusters
• To assist in the collation of data, design, planning and preparation of publicity materials for research outreach, including department presentations, videos, research publications, research seminars and webinars, research website and updates.To assist in the preparation of large grant call proposals for the department.
