Responsibilities
· Manage manufacturing operations, to ensure quality, production reliability, equipment maintenance and cost performance to meet customer requirements
· Support development of new products in terms of qualification, building Bill of Materials and drafting handling procedures
· Analyze and investigate customer complaint, to propose and lead implementation of improvement actions
· Facilitate production team to propose and implement projects & programs aiming to improve productivity/efficiency in the areas of automation, digitalization, and AI
· Propose and draw plans to support company and departmental KPIs, review KPIs result regularly with team and propose improvement actions whereby needed
· Take lead in the continuous cost improvement/reduction programs through critical review of Production process. Seek yield improvement and output enhancement.
· Establish failure analysis methods & techniques. Analyze data and carries out manufacturability studies; suggest technical solutions/applications/latest manufacturing techniques.
· Responsible for the training, implementation and maintenance of Best Practices and Certifications/Standards.
· Participate in New Product transfer from customers.
· Participate and support any company’s business development/expansion strategies &policies implementation that relates to production and maintenance areas.
· Support site in obtaining and maintaining ISO14001, ISO9001, CQM and Common Criteria certifications
· Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and procedures of the Company.
Requirements
· Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronic Engineering
· 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Technical Lead Engineer.
· Working knowledge of die-attach process and equipment, wire-bonding process and equipment, encapsulation process and equipment, chip module testing process and equipment
· Experience in managing 80+ operators, technicians and engineers in a mass production environment
