The Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE) is a unique interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), funded by National Research Foundation, Ministry of Education, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University of Singapore (NUS). We are looking for a Research Fellow who will be responsible for performing laboratory research to explore various aspects of biofilm development and host-microbe interactions. The selected candidate will work independently or in a small team to plan and perform experiments to address specific scientific questions related to biofilm development and colonisation of host tissues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general laboratory management tasks to support the research group
• Assist with planning, performing and documenting laboratory experiments to study biofilm development and host- microbe interactions using methods such as in vitro biofilm models, tissue culture, organoid culture, advanced microscopy, genomics and molecular microbiology.
