Function Management:

• Ensure the roll out plan for function specific strategy is developed and/ or rolled out regionally and delivers promised value
• Deliver best practices and innovation into the assigned function specific area and with the support of the internal community ensure they are embedded throughout all levels in the region
• Develop & implement the Givaudan function specific standards and solutions
• Accountable for the delivery of the enabling elements, tools and process to support the roll out plans in each region
• Lead function specific maturity assessment programs across the Division / region
• Develop and deploy globally / regionally the Givaudan function specific Academy
• Steer the organization to deliver best in class in function specific standards, plans & solutions
• Drive the creation of the divisional / regional expert community – ensure their alignment and involvement in the function specific programs across Givaudan
• Lead the roll-out for function specific systems across the division /region
• Advise sites on opportunities in improving energy efficiency
• Lead/Support energy and cost savings initiatives as well as environmental responsibility

Academic Background

• University (BS) degree (in function-specific field) with majors in functional-specific field or equivalent an advantage
• Project Management or industry specific certification would be an advantage

Professional Experience

• 10 to 20 years of relevant experience in a function-specific role or equivalent (depending if global or regional)
• 5 to 10 years of experience in people management
• Experience in matrix organizations
• Experience in Continuous improvement methodologies & function specific systems (TPM)

Technical Skills

Language requirements

• Excellent in English
• Fluent in any language of the assigned region an advantage

Looking for F&B Manager of at least 3 years and above, deploy to F&B outlets. Daily job scope includes overseeing daily operations, procurement of goods and inventory control management. Willing to learn and pick up basic cashiering skills. Possess good service attitude to handle customers orders, be able to PR with local and foreign customers to hone customers relationship and handle their requests. Possess good leadership skills to lead a team of 10 or more staffs. May be required to do overtime from time to time, when required to.

1. Can settle all government official documents and manpower issues, which includes basic wages calculations, apply foreign workers permit, settle local staffing problems.

2. Know or willing to learn the basic of making hot beverages.

3. Has to design and put up simple advertisements for empty food stalls.

4. Has to do sales report and set sales targets for staffs on a monthly basis.

5. Teach new staffs the correct language and educate new staffs on company's SOP.

6. Ensure public lavatories are kept and maintained in order, may be required to go hands on if shortage on manpower.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of tender activities
• Perform process design and costing (CAPEX & OPEX)
• Prepare technical proposal c/w PFD, P & ID
• Tender clarification & presentation (supporting sales activities)
• Assisting project team on technical matters (process design & calculation and sequence of operation)
• Assist to source new products technical evaluation

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical engineering / Equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge (i.e Process Design and Calculation) in Membrane (MF/UF/RO/MBR), Ion Exchange, and pretreatment processes (coagulation / flocculation, sedimentation, clarification, filtration)
• 3 years relevant working experience in Water & Waste Water Treatment industries is preferable. Fresh graduate can also apply.
• Those with relevant project management / plant testing & commissioning experience will be an added advantage
• Self-starter, highly motivated, driven by excellence and having an eye for details
• Process the mental and physical staminal to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / visions
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
