Duties and Responsibilities:-
1) Review drawings/specifications.
2) Sourcing for material & send inquires to suppliers.
3) Price / lead time comparison.
4) Raise PO & get approval from the Supply Chain Manager & Managing Director.
5) Raise material substitution to customer if required.
6) Communicate and coordinate with suppliers for all procurement activities.
7) Delivery planning & monitoring.
8) Update job order status as and when it is required.
9) Issue drawings and other relevant documents to QA department.
10) Update stock usage report as and when required.
11) Work out the best solution to meet customers' lead time & pricing requirement.
12) Sourcing for value added suppliers for more options.
13) Generate vendors evaluation request as and when required.
14) Assess and evaluate suppliers' performances.
15) Conduct on-site audit to supplier as and when required.
16) Other comprehensive ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:-
1) Min Diploma in Engineering/ Material Management/ Supply Chain Management or any other relevant discipline.
2) Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
3) Team Player, organized and efficient.
4) Right attitude and hardworking.
5) Ability to understand technical drawings.
6) Proficiency in MS Office.
