Responsibilities:

1. New product planning:

• Analyse industrial trends, market data and customer insights to derive constructive ideas and information for the purpose of NPD.
• Define product competitive positioning and unique selling proposition (USP).

2. New product development (NPD):

• Responsible for entire NPD process; from concept initiation to completion, for both new product and reformulations.
• Take the lead in close collaboration with cross functional teams such as Regulatory, Marketing, Supply chain, Contract manufacturers, R&D and Quality, for seamless on-time delivery of products.
• Source for contract manufacturers and liaise with formulators to develop new product; be the main contact point with these suppliers for NPD/ formulation discussions.
• Review formulas and ingredient/ design statements for new product that is compliant with regulations.
• Familiar with the concept of product challenge test, stability, and compatibility studies.
• Research market prices, create accurate product costing data and propose product pricing.

3. New product introduction:

• Conduct product training to regional trainer/marketing team and key leaders of salesforce.

4. Post-launch product management:

• Analyse product performance and identify actions required.
• Manage product feedback and propose technically sound customer-centric reply.
• React to necessary corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) raised by Quality.

5. Contribute for and implement standard procedures (in compliance with industrial standards and QMS requirements) for any product development and management activities or as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development/ management in the cosmetic and skin care industry.
• Bonus if candidates have prior experience with beauty/personal care/medical device.

Quantitative Trading Engineer / Quantitative Researcher

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

• Use AI technologies such as machine learning and deep learning to intelligently optimize investment strategies and improve the performance of strategies in actual transactions.
• Extract predictive signals from financial data through both traditional statistical analysis methods and cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling techniques to enhance existing trading strategies and perform innovative new research with the goal of identifying and capturing trading opportunities.

Data Analysis：

• Collect and analyze large financial datasets (market data, news, social media, etc.).
• Work with large data sets to predict and test statistical market patterns, combining knowledge of systems, mathematical techniques, and trading to identify the best places to improve the trading system.
• Build and optimize feature engineering pipelines to improve model prediction accuracy.

Financial Modeling:

• Construct, back-test, maintain, and improve financial models to support trading activities.
• Conceptualize valuation strategies, develop, and continuously improve upon mathematical models and help translate algorithms into code
• Conduct research and statistical analysis to build and refine monetization systems for trading signals
• Optimize the order execution and risk management of our trading system
• Create robust solutions to problems presented in the trading environment

• Tuning the model's hyperparameters to improve model performance and stability.

Strategy backtesting and real-time testing:

• Backtest historical data to evaluate the strategy's yield, volatility, drawdown and other indicators.
• Deploy the strategy to the real-time environment, track performance and continuously optimize.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in quantitative trading and machine learning modeling.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, etc.
• Familiar with common machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Familiar with quantitative trading systems, data flows and algorithms.
• Deep understand the structure of financial markets and be familiar with markets such as virtual currencies, stocks, futures, and foreign exchange.
• Experience in large-scale data processing, proficient in using SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop and other tools.

Bonus Skills

What's the role?

The Financial Solutions Knowledge Group is responsible for building and delivering thoughtful training programs that support the execution of Bloomberg strategy across Financial Solutions. The team strategizes together with senior management in order to design, organize, schedule and execute large-scale training so that our clients can be served in the best possible way by the most knowledgeable salesforce.

This role, reporting to the Regional Financial Solutions Knowledge Group Team Leader, will be responsible for all matters related to developing and maintaining the skills and knowledge necessary to the success of our Bloomberg Financial Solutions employees in the region.

Training can be in-person or remote, live or on-demand, synchronous or asynchronous, or web-based. A sophisticated learning management system keeps track of all learning activities in real time. Subject matter ranges from basic financial concepts to options pricing theory. On the other hand, training also includes sales models, behavioral heuristics, and navigating complex organizations.

• Propose ad-hoc trainings as solutions to business challenges
• Define and design programs that are aligned with department strategy and have clear business impact
