The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore is seeking a full-time paediatric pathologist. The position is available for a flexible period of three to four years; this may therefore suit an individual who has recently retired, or who wishes to gain a period of international exposure working in a vibrant city-state in Asia.

The successful candidate will have medical and specialist pathology qualifications registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg/smc/becoming-a-registereddoctor).

Subspecialty competence in paediatric pathology, such as evidenced by the completion of a paediatric pathology fellowship or a distinguished academic career as a paediatric pathologist, is required. Your team :

You’ll be working in the Structural Rates (SR) team within Group Treasury (GT) in Singapore. Group Treasury is responsible for the execution of Liquidity & Funding risk management as well as managing the risks of the firm's structural Cash, Rates and FX positions to maximize the financial returns generated. GT is part of Group CFO which sits under Group Functions.
You will primarily be managing the structural interest rate (IR) risk that arises from the contractual and modelled risks from the GWM loans and deposits portfolio in APAC. Banking Book IR risk management seeks to maximize the profitability of the banking book by optimizing the netting capacity and actively managing the inherent interest rate risk transferred to the banking book within the approved risk limits.
Additionally, we offer rotation opportunities where you will be cross trained into other areas of ALM, such as XVA which involves the management of OTC derivative lifecycle from pricing at inception to Maturity/Termination or Default, including optimization of credit Risk Weighted Assets and initial margin requirements.

Your expertise :

You have:

• A degree education or equivalent in a financial or analytical subject would be desirable.
• Background knowledge of Fixed Income and OTC derivatives products, with experience in Interest Rate Risk management, e.g. Interest rate swaps, FX swaps.
• Prior work experience in a financial industry. Experience in trading, counterparty and interest rate risks management a plus.
