Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social responsibility and human rights audits, supply chain due diligence and sustainability reporting practices in an integrated agricultural supply chain franchise. The Analyst will lead internal audits of subsidiaries, assist in group-wide sustainability reporting and disclosures, and support upstream capacity building projects. The role offers in depth exposure to real-world industry challenges and opportunities essential to launch a career in corporate sustainability management in the agricultural commodities sector, particularly natural rubber.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply chain due diligence and internal audits
• Support supplier partnerships and qualification processes by evaluating their sourcing activities against the company’s risk management standards and customer requirements utilising Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing tools to gather evidence and facilitate decision-making
• Conduct internal audits of subsidiaries in compliance to the company’s internal HeveaPro standards on social responsibility and human rights due diligence as well as customer requirements for compliance to industry regulations (EUDR, EUDDD, etc.)
• Develop and execute internal audit plans and provide technical advice to subsidiaries for continuous improvement
2. Sustainability reporting and disclosures
• Help in preparing the annual sustainability report and assist in disclosing ESG information to stakeholders to advance the company’s ESG ratings and industry status (GPSNR, EcoVadis, SPOTT, etc.)
• Respond to customer requests for supply chain ESG data to fulfil their reporting and downstream obligations
• Assist in the resolution and tracking of customer cases
3. Industry engagement and supply chain capacity building
• Participate in multi-stakeholder discussions (Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR), etc) and report to senior management to advance various sustainability agenda such as supply chain assurance and upstream capacity building
• Assist in the implementation of responsible sourcing initiatives for farmers and suppliers in partnership with industry stakeholders
• Prepare presentations, meeting materials, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Work Experience: Ideally possessing 1-2 years of experience as a sustainability auditor, consultant, or GIS and remote sensing specialist in a corporate or consultancy setting. New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Education: An undergraduate or post-graduate degree in geography, environmental science, accounting and business management, social science or related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams); Knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) software would be essential. Knowledge of supply chain traceability applications would be ideal but not required.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Other Requirements: Passionate about sustainable development, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Business travel is expected at 20%.
