Job Purpose

The IT Executive is responsible for providing day-to-day IT support, managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including audio-visual (AV) systems, computers, telephone systems, network devices, and cloud-based services. The role also involves ensuring the security and efficiency of IT operations, managing vendors and procurement, handling system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The IT Executive will play a key role in project management, IT inventory management, and generating detailed reports for management.

Principal Accountabilities

End-User IT Support & Maintenance

1. Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
3. Set up and maintain IT equipment for both in-office and remote users.
4. Provide AV (audio-visual) support for meetings, webinars, and events (e.g., projectors, sound systems, video conferencing tools).
5. Manage telephone systems, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
6. Maintain IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.

Network & Firewall Management

1. Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
2. Configure, monitor and update the FortiGate firewall to ensure network security.
3. Conduct regular reviews of firewall and network logs to detect and mitigate security threats.
4. Ensure network performance is optimized and secure for all users.

IT Systems Administration

1. Manage the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, workstations, and cloud services.
2. Administer Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 platforms for user account management.
3. Conduct regular system updates, patches, and security upgrades to ensure stability and security.
4. Implement monitoring tools (e.g., Datto & Kesaya 365) to ensure system performance and uptime.
5. Document IT configurations, network diagrams, and system procedures to ensure knowledge continuity.

IT Project Management

1. Lead and support IT-related projects, such as system upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and software implementations.
2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project goals are met.
3. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
4. Provide regular updates to management on project status and deliverables.

IT Inventory Management

1. Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, ensuring all software and hardware components are tracked.
2. Conduct regular audits to ensure IT assets are accounted for and up to date.
3. Manage IT equipment lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.

IT Security & Compliance

1. Implement security controls to protect the organization’s data and IT systems.
2. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
3. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR).
4. Manage security tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
5. Implement encryption protocols and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to secure sensitive systems.
6. Interpret reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in IT operations.
7. Document IT processes, policies, and system configurations for reference and compliance purposes.

Job summary/ purpose:

Responsible for the base line preparation and creation of menu dishes, following the manager's directives while working in a team and adhering to health and sanitary norms as well as company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Handles the reception of raw materials, assesses their freshness, and stores them according to FDA norms, reporting any discrepancies due to transport or storage issues.
• Manages basic preparations, cleans raw materials, and prepares the line based on the menu, following recipes and ingredient quantities provided in company manuals.
• Prepares menu dishes (starters, first courses, second courses, sides, desserts, deli items, and cold dishes), coordinating with the team.
• Ensures each dish is crafted with precision and attention to detail, performs decorations, and plates according to the company's presentation and quality standards.
• Uses appropriate tools and equipment for each task, operating safely and maintaining their cleanliness.
• Organizes individual workstation respecting shared spaces.
• Knows proper food management, different cooking techniques, and applies control procedures on conservation status.
• Proactively signals depleted products/ ingredients, checks expirations, and compiles reports on daily stock levels.
• Actively collaborates with the service area to ensure proper service timing and fulfill customer requests.
• Adheres to company procedures and hygiene regulations, ensuring safety compliance.
• Ensures proper handover to colleagues of the next shift or day.
• To assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
• Ensure kitchen equipment clean and maintain on the regular basis.
• Assist Sous chef with their tasks and responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively with other kitchen staffs to ensure smooth service and team work.
• Learn from Sous chef and participate in training and development programs.
• Monitor food quality and report any issues to Sous chef.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are in place and followed by junior cooks.

- Projection of manpower establishment and review of hiring requests. Partner with Talent Acquisition team to pre-plan forward hiring for projected attrition.

- Provide advisory support on issues relating to performance management and people management.

- Communicate and advise on HR policies and to implement management practices that align with policies and comply to regulations and regularly review and improve on workflow processes & procedures.

- Conduct exit interviews to establish and find out issues relating to staff retention and satisfaction.

The Job

• Evaluating front to back control processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions with SME's and other inputs.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies for Target Operating Models, BRDs, User Stories, Test Case.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and operational advancements to automate and modernise systems.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Communicating with all stakeholders & to elicit, analyse and validate the requirements for changes to control processes, within workshops, working groups and other forums.
• Identifying, documenting, and analysing business requirements against risk through process discovery and managing these through to completion/escalation
• Analysing the information collected in a detailed manner whilst working independently and as part of the overall team
