The KKH Paediatric Allergy Service is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates with a keen interest in clinical research in allergic disease to join our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC). The CRC will be responsible to, and collaborate with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to conduct research projects in the field of Paediatric Allergy, to ensure the successful completion of study measures in a timely manner to achieve high quality and impactful deliverables. The CRC’s principal role will be to perform clinical research-related procedures such as subject screening and recruitment, subject follow-ups, coordinating the collection and processing of biological samples, data collection, management and processes, data entry, cleaning and analysis.

• Assist with Subject screening and recruitment, conduct study visits, perform study procedures and collection of data sets and in strict adherence to approved study protocols, ICH Good Clinical Practice and other applicable regulatory bodies;
• Assist with biological sample processing, storage and analysis;
• Maintenance and organization of the investigator site files (ISF), preparation and submissions of documents and/or reports (e.g study amendments, study status reports) to the ethics committee;
• Assist with grant status reports and preparation of study progress slides during regular meetings with Co-Is and Collaborators;
• Assist with consolidation and management of data, data cleaning and data analysis;
• Conduct literature review, manuscript preparation and administrative aspects in relation to grant write up and submissions;
• Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI and/or Project Lead.
• Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures, and uphold a culture of camaraderie and excellence in the team.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Life sciences or Health Sciences or related field.
• Prior clinical research experience will be advantageous.
• Effectively bilingual.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Possess excellant communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivator, proactive, meticulous and possess excellent organizational skills.
• Multi-tasking capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and statistical software.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Conduct home visits to deliver psychoeducation, support, and care coordination services to clients and caregivers.

- Assess patients' medical, psychological, social, environmental, and vocational needs.

- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including allied health professionals, doctors, and nurses.

- Provide psychological expertise during multidisciplinary meetings.

- Facilitate training sessions for team members and caregivers as needed.

- Execute projects and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department.

General Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement care management tools to enhance patient coordination.

- Identify areas for improvement within the department and hospital, recommending actionable changes.

- Assist in preparing reports and maintaining necessary statistics.

Job Requirement:

- Registered Nurse with valid certification from the Singapore Nursing Board.

- Possess a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Advanced Diploma in Mental Health, or relevant qualifications in social work, counseling, or psychology.

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in psychiatric settings (e.g., Community Psychiatric Clinic, Institute of Mental Health) preferred.

- Strong passion for community work and supporting individuals with mental health disorders.

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.

- Proficient in computer literacy, including MS Office and other relevant software.

- Familiarity with the healthcare environment and mental health services.

- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
