We are seeking an Assistant Manager for the restaurant. This role will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in delivering an excellent service experience to clients, as well as administrative duties in managing catering coordination and general queries via email. Our restaurant is open 6 days a week (Tues-Thur: Dinner Only, Fri-Sun & PH: All Day); this position is a 5-day work week.
The ideal candidate will be a warm and friendly personality, with excellent spoken and written English required. Experience in event or catering coordination is required. A responsible and reliable personality with an awesome sense of humor is ideal!
An example of responsibilities include:
- Leading by examples in restaurant service, serving as a role model and ambassador of Texas BBQ and warm hospitality and guest interaction
- Responding to client queries for catering and events via email within 24 hours, recommending the most appropriate options for their needs, and providing helpful suggestions to maximize sales.
- Liaise with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to coordinate catering and event date and logistics to ensure sufficient manpower and capacity.
- Preparing accurate invoices and securing pre-payments.
- Managing and responding to general client queries through general email address within 24 hours.
