Software Engineer (Digital Banking & Payment Platform)
Our client’s Engineering Competence Centre (ECC) in Singapore is an established R&D and engineering hub, delivering innovative solutions across the globe in Digital Identity and Security domains. This includes mobile connectivity, IoT, banking and payment systems, and government applications.
As part of the Digital First project team, you will contribute to the vision of "Banking as a Service," developing platforms that combine card digitization, customer onboarding, and risk evaluation into a seamless, mobile-first experience for financial institutions.
This role is central to driving a DevSecOps transformation where teams collaborate on a unified code base, fostering autonomy and agility to address customer challenges effectively. If you are passionate about innovation and working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions leveraging GitLab for source code management, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Create frontend components for secure, cloud-based services.
- Oversee end-to-end development, testing, and deployment of solutions.
- Contribute to design, implementation, validation, and documentation within an agile Scrum team.
- Ensure solutions meet quality benchmarks for performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with Node.JS.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Mercurial, Git).
- Familiarity with build systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum).
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Splunk, and DataDog.
- Experience with Docker, NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB), and MySQL.
