Markets Finance Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. In addition to a holistic overview of business performance the candidate will partner with the business around elements of Business strategy and helping/ advising how to reach plan/ target levels. Understanding of RoTCE, GSIB, Revenue, Balance Sheet composition as well as the ability to understand and challenge expenses will be critical. The role will cover the Asian clusters regarding all activity conducted by the Rates and Currencies business. Rates and Currencies consists of four distinct though complementary business lines; Rates, FX, Markets Treasury and Markets Finance. Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a global team of finance professionals to accomplish established goals
• Drive forward looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results
• Perform analysis and deliver presentations related to the financial performance of Citi and its competitors
• Generate analytics for quarter end flash results, related highlights, Board of Directors reports, and executive management reports as well as lead quarterly competitor reviews, quarterly annotated supplement, and quarterly investment reports

As a member of the Corporate Tax team located in Singapore, the International Tax Manager will primarily be responsible for managing tax planning, compliance and controversy in the region. This will involve driving tax initiatives and technology, reviewing tax processes, helping with tax audits in the region and supporting the business teams in tax matters. This role will collaborate and work closely with the indirect tax team, accounting and other finance and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight and co-ordination of tax compliance activities outsourced to external service providers in the Asia Pacific region, including the review of tax returns and tax forecast calculations, as well as technical analysis in support of statutory audit
• Ensure transfer pricing obligations (e.g. documentation) are fulfilled under local transfer pricings laws and regulations
• Provide tax advisory and project management support on ad hoc tax projects as assigned. This can include tax treaty applications and responding to internal and external tax queries
• Assist and manage tax audits in the region
• Integrate processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and quality of tax processes
• Work with the Head of Tax to support the business teams in any tax issues
• Establish a strong relationship with the regional business teams, finance, legal and policy leaders to share tax views and information

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Law
• 10 to 15 years of relevant APAC tax experience – tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax advisory and tax controversy
