RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will be part of the Family Support Services-Families for Life team playing a trainer, delivering evidence-based parenting and marriage programmes to parents and couples. It works collaboratively with schools and community partners in planning of these programmes as required, and will be involved in various community outreach efforts.

 Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Case Management:

• Manage 12 to 15 parenting consultation cases per month
• Provide counselling, programme, and case management services, including information & referral for identified clients
• Conduct client assessment and intervention plan based on programme requirements
• Participate in networking and case management meetings, if needed
• Ensure required case documentations are properly completed in a timely manner
• Application of organisational frameworks that include resilience capacity and risk assessment
• Refer clients to appropriate agencies for further intervention 

2. Group Work and Workshops:

• Conduct Family Life Education (FLE) parenting and marriage programmes through various formats (talks, workshops and group work, etc.) for parents and couples
• Plan and facilitate groupwork interventions independently 

3. Practice Supervision:

• Provide clinical and programme supervision to junior staff and/or interns.
• Facilitate peer group supervision 

4. Professional Practice:

• Demonstrate professional practice and role in accordance to the organisation's vision, mission and best practice standards of the sector, which include ethical, reflexive and collaborative practice
• Respond to crisis situations based on organisational standard operating procedures
• Identify areas of improvement in service delivery based on evidence-based practice

5. Programme Design and Implementation:

• Participate in implementation of standards of care, organisational health policies, procedures and programmes 

6. Community and Outreach Work:

• Conduct engagement talks in community settings (roadshows, schools, etc) to introduce agency and programmes
• Network with other community organisations and stakeholders through community partner events and networking meetings
• Conduct outreach to schools and community partners to increase awareness of family related support and participation in FLE programmes offered

 Requirements:

• Degree/Graduate Diploma in social work 
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in social service, education, or related work involving family, parents and children
• Preferably an accredited FLE trainer under MSF’s Family Support Division and with specialist skills training and certification in the following programmes:
  • Triple P Selected Level 2
  • Triple P Primary Level 3

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide administrative support to a Service Point, such as service/programme administration, documentation and data administration, and facilities administration as well as assist in other administrative matters related to corporate services.

Front Desk Administration and Secretariat Support: 

• Greet and attend to public walk-ins. This may include administering visitor logbook and badges, notifying relevant colleagues or re-directing public to appropriate resources
• Answer, screen and route incoming phone calls to relevant parties, taking down phone messages, checking of incoming phone messages and emails
• Attend to enquiries and feedback and where necessary, consult manager/supervisor on appropriate response or follow -up
• Handle courier/express mail services upon request, mailing of letters, checking of mailbox and dissemination of mail to relevant parties.

Facility and Operations Administration:

• Ensure reception and meeting rooms readiness/cleanliness at start and end of the day

• Assist in implementation of personal data protection policies and measures in daily operations.

Procurement and Financial Administration:

• Manage the procurement and replenishment of office required stationery and supplies
• Process accounts payable and receivable, putting up purchase and payment requisitions on financial system, as well as month-end reconciliations
• Support in administering sponsorships and donations, including liaising with external partners where needed and proper record-keeping for audits
• Ensure that physical fixed assets tally with the fixed asset records maintained in HQ-Finance's financial system and assist in asset counting when required.

HR Administration:

• Provide support in recruitment activities, where needed
• Provide support in the on-boarding and off-boarding of staff / interns, where needed
• Assist in the administration and tracking of training applications and plans of the staff in the Service Point, raising training-related purchase and payment requisitions on financial system.

Element has an opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer. Reporting to the Principal Quality Manager, you are an essential member of the management team and responsible for the overall quality performance. This includes implementation, maintenance and improvement of Element quality management system (QMS). The successful candidate will have a sound working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020 or ISO/IEC 17065 requirements in relation to testing, calibration inspection and certification.

In this role, you will have interaction with clients, Accreditation Bodies and will be responsible for advising operational colleagues of the importance of quality, accuracy and integrity in the provision of the testing, calibration inspection and certification services we provide.You will be involved in leading quality at a local level and will work closely with the Principal Quality Manager to ensure that Element quality policies, processes and procedures are effectively implemented. As a quality leader within Element you will be capable of driving a culture of quality assurance and quality improvement, working closely with your operational colleagues and the wider Element quality community.

This role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Job Duties:

• Ensuring all staff buy-in to the effective and efficient implementation of Element quality policies and procedure by providing advice, guidance and support on quality issues to Element Singapore and Malaysia business units.
• Driving quality improvements at every opportunity and proactive participation in continuous improvement and process improvement projects and ensure effective adoption of Element e-QMS throughout Element Singapore and Malaysia business units.
• Proactive participation in projects to deliver identified Quality objectives and contribute to and drive key initiatives to improve Quality awareness and compliance.
• Management of and participation in scheduled internal audits across management system and technical disciplines and proactively monitoring laboratory test equipment for calibration currency and advising management of upcoming schedules,ensuring corrective and preventive actions identified within specific laboratories are implemented and verified in a timely manner.
• Represent Element Singapore and Malaysia business units during assessments by accreditation bodies and audits by clients and controlled document holding and arrange to update appropriate documentation as necessary, control and issue of Element Singapore and Malaysia Quality Management Systems documentation and participate in the internal audit programme to monitor implementation of quality policies and procedures.
• Manage external and internal proficiency testing programs of all Element Singapore and Malaysia business units and prepare compliance and improvement metrics for Element Singapore and Malaysia business units quality as required.
• Writing and reviewing quality documentation as required and effective and efficient management of personal work schedules and timely generation of Element Singapore and Malaysia business units quality reports.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor of Science or Engineering qualification.
• Proven experience (minimum two years) of managing quality management systems within a multi-discipline testing, inspection and certification environment, preferably multi-location.
• Demonstrable experience auditing against ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17065.
• Sound knowledge of equipment calibration and analysing proficiency test data.
• Knowledgeable in uncertainty of measurement and risk assessment and hands-on experience with Element e-QMS preferable.
