We are looking for an exceptional UI/UX Designer who has a passion for nurturing every child to become an everyday hero who drives positive change for himself / herself, others and the world, is concerned about animal welfare, wildlife conservation, and sustainability. As one of the first few hires on the venture, you will shape the product to speak to the voice of the customer with your creative design expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CHALLENGES
In this role you will:
· Lead concept sessions leveraging ethnographic research and design thinking
· Translate customer insights into concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps and prototypes
· Create and execute on design systems, based on regional/contextual user behaviours, and working to shape the experience of the entire product and feature set
· Work closely with Product, Engineering and Commercial team members to drive inform product and venture build
· Create, curate and upload content in sync with the product roadmap, constantly keeping up with new and creative ways to keep users engaged
· Communicate the product's vision, based on testing and design principles, to team members, external stakeholders and consumers
· Ability to plan, facilitate and synthesise usability testing towards actionable design deliverables for build
You should have:
· 3+ years of experience designing stellar products end-to-end
· Experience working in a combination of early-stage ventures, design agencies and corporate environments
· Experience designing end to end UX using tried and tested processes. From discovery all the way to delivery of polished UI designs
· Solid understanding of design thinking and human centred design to understand user behaviour and expectations
· Solid experience with wire-framing and prototyping to explore and convey design solutions
· Expertise in Figma (preferred), Sketch, Flinto, Invision, realtime board or similar UX/UI applications
· Proven track record of creating or curating content assets across multiple formats
· Familiarity and strong interest in visual design, editing and content curation a big plus
