Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Drum Teacher to join our educational institution. As a Drum Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing students of various skill levels and ages in the art of playing the drums. Your role involves designing, planning and delivering drum lessons, providing hands-on instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Keys Responsibilities:

1. Drum Instruction:

· Develop and implement drum lesson plans tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual students.

Qualifications:

Our client, a well-established IT Solutions company with offices in Singapore and Malaysia, is seeking an experienced HR Manager/Executive to join their Ubi office in Singapore. This role requires a deep understanding of the Singapore and Malaysia Employment Acts to ensure compliance and effective HR management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and legal requirements.
• Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
• Handle work pass applications, renewals, and compliance with local manpower laws.
• Provide HR advisory support to management and employees on employment matters.
• Collaborate with the finance team on payroll and benefits administration.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely submission of statutory filings.
• Assist in organizational development and employee engagement programs.
• Support the HR needs of the Malaysia office as required, ensuring alignment with local practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and Malaysia Employment Act.
• 2–3 years of experience in an HR management or executive role.
• Familiarity with work pass applications and HR compliance in Singapore.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders is an advantage.

• Possess relevant experience and valid class 4 driving licence.

Job Description:

• Quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Material ordering, budget tracking on quantity for main materials (eg: rebars, tiles etc).
• Measurement, payment response, VO for subcon.
• Preparing of tender submission within specific deadline.
• Source, negotiate and awarding of contracts to vendors.
• Tendering and contract documents administration, preparing BQ, cost estimation, control and budgeting.
• Monitoring actual construction cost vs contract work quality.
• Ensuring that cost is ideally managed within budget throughout the project.
• Advising the project team on contractual rights and arbitration procedures when dispute arises.
• Ensure meticulous assessment of costs / schedule of all projects activities.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2-years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry.
• Good with figures and an eye for details.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledgeable about construction materials and procurement methods.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Good knowledge in Building Construction Works, Singapore Contracts Law and regulations will be an added advantage.
