1. POSITION SUMMARY

• Provide daily cashiering tasks like accepting cash and other forms of payment, records purchased items, give change and produce receipts.

3. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the Sales

• Assist the Store PIC in the areas of cashiering and customer service to achieve the sales goals and other KPIs of the Store.
• Execute sales strategies and action plans implemented by the Managers.
• Maintain a tight control on discounting and giveaways/ discontinued products.
• Ensure all monies and sales transactions are accordance to the operation procedures.

Daily Cashiers Duties

• Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers or optical price scanners and process the sales quickly and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit cards, cheques, voucher or automatic debit transactions and issuance of receipts, refunds credits or change to customers and ensuring all credit card process payments are adhered to with proper authorization.
• Safeguard the Point of Sales and at the end of the shift, to balance the amount of money taken in with the total sales recorded.
• Responsible for cashiers documentation and proper cash record and filing.
• Identifies and surface price discrepancies and system malfunctions and contacts superior.
• Manages incoming phone calls with appropriate phone etiquette and greetings.

Achieve High Service Standards

• Keep abreast of sales & customer service whilst providing excellent WOW service experience to customers.
• Maintain and uphold the company’s image as a prestigious and luxurious brand at all times.
• Be responsible to collect Customer Registration Card as per storetarget.
• Work with the Manager to best handle customer complaints.

Inventory Integrity  

• Work together with Managers and floor to manage inventory and minimize stock losses.
• Qualitative security measures to prevent theft and pilferage.

Maintains Best Retail Standards  

• Maintain orderly appearance of the register area.
• Ensure general POS counter housekeeping and maintenance is at acceptable standards.
• Ensure proper care for stocks, fixtures and furniture within the store, and kept neatly and tidy at all times.
• Comply with company SOPs and the Code of Business Conduct.

Personal Development

• Have and maintain at all times integrity and accuracy in the handling of money and company assets.  
• Have and maintain at all times competent knowledge of POS system.
• Complete E-Learning Modules on timely manner.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide responsible and highly skilled management in directing all facets of retail store operation. The Manager manages the retail store consistent with the short and long term interests of the company and its employees. • Routine bacteriological procedures, including cultures, isolation and identification techniques and antibiotic sensitivity testing.

• Responsible to perform registration of patient samples, handling telephone inquiries by clients and printing and faxing of patient results
• Follows Laboratory policy for registration, billing, identification, processing, reporting, result retrieval and record/specimen keeping.
• Complies and maintains all applicable safety regulations in the Laboratory.
• Maintains proper inventory levels of all Clinical Laboratory consumables and reagents and informs senior staff if supply is low.
• Checks the performance of all instruments and equipment in the Laboratory and to report any equipment which is not functioning properly.
• Complies with all regulatory guidelines, participating in CAP proficiency testing programs and in hospital quality assurance programs.
• Participates in a routine maintenance program for instruments and in on-going continuing education and professional development programs.

Requirements:

• Recognised Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent
• Recognised Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology or Diploma or equivalent
• With a minimum of 3 years of experience in Clinical Laboratory
