• SAP certification and S/4HANA certification are highly desirable.

Roles and responsibilities of early interventionist:

• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Deliver lessons for classes.
• Assess students and set appropriate SMART goals (to be discussed with other stakeholders i.e. parents, therapists)
• Review children's learning progress weekly
• Updating parents on students’ activities and progress
• Identify and implement individualised teaching and learning approaches
• Use a range of appropriate materials and resources to create quality learning environments.
• Use classroom management strategies according to the needs of the children.
• Prepare case files, reports and closure of cases.
• Establishing good communication and collaborating with parents, caregivers and other professionals

Qualifications

• Advance Diploma, Diploma and/or Degree in Early Childhood Special Education/
• Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) (SDESN) awarded by NIEC/
• At least 3 years experience working in an early intervention setting and a transdisciplinary setting
