ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining the entire kitchen operation

• Preparing hot and cold dishes and executing requests based on required specifications

• Assisting in the planning and development of menus and recipes

• Supervising, training, and developing staff and ensuring consistency in work performance

• Ensure quality control and presentation of the food

• Ensuring proper handling and storage of all food items in accordance with the Club standards and sanitation regulations

• Assist in operations to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

• Maintain a planned food cost

Job Description:

• Monitor cleaning operations to ensure quality service delivery.

• Provide on the job training and coach staff to meet the contractual requirements.

Profile description

We are looking for Senior Vessel Manager for a position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Vessel Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the safe operation of a fleet of bulk carrier and Gas vessels assigned to you.
• Besides day-to-day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise drydockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• To monitor and control spare parts supply to the vessels. You will judiciously manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.
• You will attend vessels at port and/or short sailing on scheduled visits and prepare vessel inspection reports. You need to drive safe work culture and inspire the shipboard team.
• To objectively analyze and report on performance of shipboard personnel.
• Coordinate with Operations, QHSE and Fleet Personnel department in smooth & efficient operation of assigned vessels.
• Any other assignments as needed.

Requirements:

• Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency and more than 3 years of shore experience in Technical management.
• Experience on Bulk and Gas Carriers is desirable.
• You should have a strong focus on cargo handling equipment & knowledge of cargo gear maintenance requirement.
• Good leadership qualities & strong commitment to safety/compliance procedures are essentially needed in our organization.
• You should be professionally sound, highly motivated and a good team player.
• Good proficiency in English communication required.
• You will be stationed in Singapore and travelling to attend ships.

To assess and identify variation order (VO) work for all subcontract packages

· To provide support in terms of measurement and pricing on the Mechanical / Electrical contract's VO claim

· To process monthly progress claim and final claim

· To attend to all relevant contracts administration and documentation for the project

· To take off measurement: re-measurement for sub-contract

· To work out cost estimation or budgetary cost on Mechanical / Electrical services

· To liaise with Consultants/ Main Contractors on VO and progress claims

· To liaise with suppliers for quotations

· To maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and proper manner
