Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive business performance. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a positive environment for both customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

2. Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
• Schedule and manage shifts to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and motivation.

3. Customer Service

• Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor dining experiences to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and build loyalty.

4. Financial Management

• Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales and profit margins.
• Manage inventory, placing orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.

5. Marketing and Promotions

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Plan and oversee special events or promotions.
• Collaborate with external partners for advertising and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of restaurant management software and financial principles.

➡ Position: Senior F&B Executive.

A Senior F&B Executive is responsible for:

• The Senior F&B Executive will report to the Assistant General Manager and Floor Supervisors.
• Senior F&B Executive will facilitate an excellent guest experience by ensuring exceptional products and services at all times.
• Provides exceptional service at all times, looking for ways to exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure that all standard procedures, rules and regulations, quality of service and sequence of service are highly implemented.
• Support any activities of the management.
• Be a guiding example for the more junior team members of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• To promote and maintain a positive working relationship at all times with all colleagues.
• To demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures and service standards.
• To have full knowledge of the menu and beverage lists and all other special promotions taking place within the company.

This position will report to the Restaurant Executive Chef

The working location is within walking distance from Bras Basah MRT station and City Hall MRT station.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with menu planning, inventory, supply management, and maintaining portion sizes
• Minimize waste and maximize thorough usage of food through proper and well-organized storage
• Maintain excellent standards of food quality and production, ensuring consistency in all dishes
• Ensure adherence to standards and procedures
• Maintain the highest standards of kitchen and food hygiene at all times
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times and to give guidance to other team members

Job Requirements:

• Preferable Degree or Skills Certificate in Culinary Arts/ Restaurant Management and Operations
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience preferably in Modern Chinese cuisine
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of your specialty such as Wok, Steamer, Dim Sum, BBQ or Chopper and general culinary functions
• Prior experience working in a preopening team would be advantageous
• Work independently and good team player
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess a strong understanding and execution of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
• Comfortable with flexible work hours including shifts, split shifts, weekends, and public holidays
