Cable laying Project Operation and Vessel Maintenance

• Quickly identify the cause of mechanical or electrical troubles in the working vessels andestablish a proper restore/repair plan. Take precautions to prevent troubles on working vessels. Handle operational issues, repairs, and/or modifications to Cable laying Vessel fleet.
• Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, Vessel master’s shipyard and vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance needed for the operations.

We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Capacity Planning and Automation Engineer to support our client’s Data Center team. This role will focus on ensuring the availability of sufficient materials for Hosting and Network Services, as well as developing automation solutions to streamline reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capacity planning, data analysis, and automation development.

Key Responsibilities:

Capacity Planning:

• Collaborate with vendors to forecast and ensure adequate supply of materials to support Hosting and Network Services operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, assess future needs, and mitigate risks of material shortages.
• Provide data-driven insights to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.

Automation Development:

• Design and implement automated solutions to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain tools for generating critical reports, such as:
• Work Queue Status Reports
• Capacity Reports
• Identify opportunities to optimize manual workflows through automation and propose actionable solutions.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support operational decision-making.
• Analyze trends and metrics to improve operational performance and capacity planning processes.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the team manager and cross-functional teams to align capacity planning with business goals.

Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of proven experience in capacity planning, inventory management, or a similar role.

• Experience in automation / scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, VBA, or other tools).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting platforms will be a plus.
