This role is to support the Senior Accountant (Crewing Entities) in keeping full set of accounts and ensuring that all accounting standards, controls and accuracy are maintained whilst meeting Northern Marine Group / Stena Group reporting requirements.

• Keeping full set of accounts for several crewing entities, including preparation of financial statements, relevant reconciliation reports and audit schedules
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbook, fixed assets and general ledger functions
• Maintain individual accounts receivable and accounts payable subledgers and make adjustment whenever necessary, including generating and posting sales invoices in the ERP system, posting of supplier invoices in the system for approval and payments
• Preparing & co-ordinating period end closing activities for corporate reporting
• Responsible for submitting annual budgets and quarterly forecasts including AARO reporting
• Perform variance analysis, bank & accounts reconciliations
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and other parties on financial transactions
• Preparing annual financial reports within statutory deadlines
• Submission of GST returns, prepare corporate tax computation and XBRL
• Manage treasury activities, including cashflow forecasts, working capital requirements and ensure sufficient funding received from clients for seafarers’ payrolls
• Liaise with corporate secretarial agents, auditors, tax agents, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations etc, for preparation and submission of necessary regulatory documentation & returns
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls procedures and processes in line with company’s policies
• Involved in external ISO & internal controls audits, finance procedures & transfer pricing documentation and writing minutes of meetings
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by superior

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent preferred
• Computer literate particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Organized, detailed and deadline-oriented
• Able to work both independently and equally in a team environment
• Possess a positive attitude

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.

Plan and prepare work and equipment usage schedule

The Deputy General Manager will be responsible under GM of Japanese national for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of the HR, and administration functions within the organization. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The Deputy General Manager will lead a team of professionals in HR, and General Administration to drive performance, enhance employee engagement, streamline business processes, and contribute to the overall growth and stability of the organization. In addition, this position will serve as a key advisor to the Head of the Department, providing critical support to the Administration Department.

The Deputy General Manager is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

Human Resources

• HR Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals. Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies, maintaining best practices in HR management.
• Management: Oversee and approve payment-related HR activities, such as payroll. Play a key role in the annual increment and bonus exercises, with assistance from a Senior HR Officer.
• Other Responsibilities: Handle various HR functions as needed to support the organization eg grievance handling, discipline issue, group insurance.

General Affair

• ISO Representation: Serve as the Management Representative for ISO 37000 and CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) for ISO 27000 standards, ensuring compliance and effective implementation across relevant operations.
• Administrative Leadership: Lead the administration team in managing intra-company agreements, expatriate tenancy matters, mobile device and service arrangements, car booking system, ACRA compliance and handling other ad-hoc tasks assigned to administrative personnel.
• Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive, efficient, and well-organized working environment, while implementing best practices for office management and facilities maintenance.
• Events Planning and Coordination: Lead committee to plan, coordinate and execute company events that foster engagement, collaboration, and a positive work environment.

Others

• Support the Head of Department on an as-needed basis by providing advice and reporting on the progress of business development projects across the Asia Regional Headquarters.

(A) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field; an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting principles, HR best practices, and administrative functions.
• Proven experience as the above-described position or in a similar executive leadership capacity.
• Background in the construction industry is preferred.
