In this role, you will conduct quantitative research and analysis on equities, using quantitative methods and AI/ML techniques for capital allocation, portfolio construction, optimization, risk management, and hedging solutions. Your work will provide actionable insights and recommendations that translate into portfolio actions and enhance our investment process.

Additionally, you will perform quantitative research and analysis to help our CIO understand the impact of various macro drivers and events on our portfolio through scenario and stress testing.

You will also gather internal data to conduct ongoing quantitative research and studies, offering an unbiased, data-driven feedback loop to improve the investment decision-making and research quality of our PMs and analysts.

Moreover, you will harness data and quantitative techniques to aid in the development of thematic and event-based strategies and solutions required by the CIO.

What will you do as a Quantitative Strategist?

• Partner department and investment heads to leverage data, quantitative methods, and AI/ML for research and analysis, validating investment hypotheses and providing actionable insights in capital allocation, portfolio construction, risk management.
• Conduct quantitative research and analysis work to understand how macro drivers such as interest rates and inflation affect companies and incorporate this understanding into your analysis.
• Utilize quantitative and network information to perform sensitivity and impact analysis of events and reporting.
• Perform ongoing portfolio risk and performance monitoring through the team’s quantitative portfolio diagnostic analytics framework.
• Apply behavioural analytics to help PMs and analysts to make better decisions and on their research qualities respectively.
• Harness data and quantitative methods to aid in the development and implementation of thematic/event-based strategies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain models and analytics to provide continuous insights and aid in institutionalize our knowledge.
• Share and cross-pollinate quantitative applications, analysis, and tools within and across departments, sharing insights relevant to various investment teams within and outside of EQD.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• Advanced degree in fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or Economics
• 3-10 years of relevant experience in quantitative research and analysis.
• Strong expertise in quantitative capital allocations, portfolio construction and risk analysis
• Proficiency in R or Python and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand, influence, and obtain buy-in from stakeholders effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

A. Programme Development and Implementation

i. Provide triage, care coordination and service linkage to clients with or who are at risk of mental health issues and/or dementia, with the appropriate resources and support including caregiver support.

ii. Followed up with assessment and review information and referral service and monitoring of clients with mental health condition

iii. Plan and conduct talk and outreach to the community and stakeholders to promote mental wellness and mental health awareness, including community mapping, deck of presentation

iv. Plan and conduct targeted mental health and dementia case finding/screening to promote early identification and facilitate timely support.

v. Plan and organize structured preventive activities and/or programmes for the CREST clients and community, those at risk of mental health conditions and clients.

B. Administration and Staff Development

i. Responsible for maintaining client records that are accurate and timely for submission to AIC for data analysis, in accordance with the CREST programme requirement.

ii. Keep and maintain client and programme data and documents, in accordance with the CREST programme requirement, as well as the prevailing personal data protection and security guidelines.

iii. Review and analyse collated data and monitor Participate in Support in the development of CREST service planning document and manual including set up requirements (infrastructure, manpower, training, recruitment) and processes (outreach, screening, mental health information, service linkage & follow-up).

iv. Participate in relevant meetings with key stakeholders including AIC to share key learning points where required.

v. Participate in internal meetings and all SAGE events

vi. Attend required training from AIC for CREST Programme

C. PROFESSIONAL / CLINICAL

i. Ensure face-to-face counselling, home visits and other intervention such as telephone counselling, centre-based counselling following the guideline of counselling SOP

ii. Ensure client are satisfied with service and able to meet all the goals of counselling most of the times

iii. Ensure planning and execution of clinical-based and/or psycho-educational group work for clients and their family members.

iv. Ensure all case recordings are updated and all case statistics are accurately captured in a timely manner.

v. Ensure linking to relevant community based/clinical assistance to clients or their family members in need of help.

vi. Ensure coming to regular internal or external clinical supervision prepared and be able to reflect on practice

D. Other Duties

i. Assists in Public Education, outreach and other Centre activities of SAGECC

ii. Any other relevant/appropriate duties as assigned by Centre Manager or Executive Director.

· Experience in managing corporate banking projects and experience in Payment Fraud, Internet Banking and Regulatory and compliance around online payments

· Ability to engage stakeholders to elicit business requirements, document the requirements, prepare functional specification.

· Document current and future state processes across the areas impacted by the changes, including capturing impacts on upstream and downstream systems and reporting.

· Participating in design workflow discussions of the system

· Understanding of technology and development lifecycle – experience in both SDLC & Agile/SCRUM delivery.

· Good understanding on tools such as JIRA, confluence etc.

· Experience in tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, SQL.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management.
