Project Engineer (Civil Engineering, Steel Erection)

Job Responsibilities:

• Project management includes monitoring project costing, project schedule and report, project administration, identify risks for specific functional area within a project, interpret technical specifications, material management, QA / QC management, project documentation,
• Adopt risk control policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate activities as directed to resolve warranty claims.
• Coordinate with technical department to resolve issues.
• Identify risks for a specified functional area within a project.
• To ensure quality level of project deliverables is in accordance with organisational quality standards.
• Liaise with relevant third party subcontractors to ensure execution as per finalised technical specifications, budget and time schedule.
• Propose resource needs for projects in collaboration with production team.
• Provide input to assessment of quality management outcomes in relation to desired outcomes with the QA team.
• Recommend re-allocation of resources to meet project requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Min 5 years of working experience as Project Engineer in steel erection industry or road facilities work
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office Applications
