Main purpose of the role: To assist lawyers in preparing and handling legal documents and reports. To also conduct legal research and analysis and help with other ad hoc administrative tasks and projects.

Reports to: Partners – Dispute Resolution

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Analysing, collating and summarising large quantities of information

· Researching points of law and other factual issues and preparing reports on the same

· Collating and organising bundles of documents for disclosure, witness statements or exhibits

· Providing general administrative support to fee-earners including drafting, reviewing and proof-reading legal documents

· Working with the Legal teams and the in-house Practice Support Services team to organise and manage disclosure exercises including document management and review

· Working on various stages of disclosure exercises including collating, organising and reviewing documents for relevance and privilege

· To help with other ad hoc projects assigned by the Partners and Associates of the team.

· Develop links between European and Asian insurance and construction practices.

Key relationships: This role works closely with Partners, Associates, Trainees in the DR team.

Person Specification:

Education / Qualifications / Experience:

· University graduate;

· At least two years' related working experience, preferably with a legal background and with some experience of reserve philosophies employed by insurance companies;

· Experience investigating and writing reports to insurers on liability and coverage issues;

· A sound knowledge of and experience in all aspects of dispute resolutions is preferable but not essential; and

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

· Good communication and interpersonal skills;

· Analytical and problem-solving skills; and

· Good computer skills.

General Skills:

· Able to work independently and within a team;

· Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;

· Well organized and able to prioritise and work under a tight schedule;

Summary:

• Heavy vehicles / EV / Commercial

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul work on heavy vehicles (diesel, commercial and electric & hybrid vehicle)
• Ensure high standard of workmanship and minimize turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections
• Notify Team Leader of unusual repair problems which will require major repair
• Adhere to defined guidelines about safety, orderliness and etc
• Complete work order for each vehicle and unit serviced
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

• Min 1 year of relevant working experience required
• Ability to carry out hands on work (repair & maintenance)
