Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced O-RAN Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of O-RAN technology and a proven track record of successfully implementing O-RAN projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Roles and Responsibility

• Lead the technical and strategic implementation of O-RAN projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on O-RAN architecture, design, and deployment, including RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) and xApps development.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of O-RAN devices and systems, including performance, interoperability, and security testing.
• Develop and implement robust CI/CD and DevOps processes for O-RAN deployments, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
• Act as a trusted adviser partnering with the customer on their technical strategy positioning and end-user understanding in their IT or telco network(prefer both)domains for digital transformation.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in O-RAN technology and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Define the roadmap for blueprint and customer solution keeping in mind for future up-scopes. Lead the technical analysis or a team within a large program with minimum supervision or independently lead small programs end to end
• Apply next generation digital solution architecture methodology, best practices, and state of the art knowledge on network and operations.

Minimum Qualification

• Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Information technology/Electronics & Communication or in related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in container software (Kubernetes, Docker) and very well understanding of cloud automation.
• Must have minimum of 3 years of experience on O-RAN deployment and orchestration in any telecom network and hands-on experience with O-RAN devices, including base stations, DU/CU split, and RIC.
• Must have clear idea on CI/CD and devops processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of the software-based mobile network landscape.
• Exceptional project management abilities, including the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

What this job involves:

Managing financial operations

As a Finance Account Officer, you'll be responsible for overseeing critical financial operations. You'll maintain accounting and control procedures in line with client's policies, prepare annual budgets, monitor budget utilisation, and provide variance analysis. Your role will be crucial in managing the collection of maintenance and sinking funds, as well as ensuring timely processing and payment of vendor invoices.

Handling accounts receivable and payable

You'll be responsible for the timely processing and posting of invoices for quarterly maintenance contributions, annual berthing, and license fees. This includes generating accurate customer invoices, monitoring outstanding debts, and updating payments promptly. On the accounts payable side, you'll verify invoice accuracy, ensure proper coding, and submit payments for approval according to client's procurement and payment policies.

Financial reporting and analysis

A key aspect of your role will be preparing various financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Accounts Receivable/Payable Aging Reports. You'll need to perform financial analysis of these reports, providing meaningful insights and commentary. You'll also be responsible for month-end closings, preparing journal entries, and GST reports.

Managing arrears and audits

You'll play a crucial role in managing debtors' arrears, following up on monthly aging reports, and liaising with residents on outstanding payments. Additionally, you'll facilitate audits by preparing and submitting unaudited financial statements to external auditors appointed by client.
